OK here are some battleship jobs that you can use. There are more jobs for carriers and some more battleship jobs, but they will be activated after 100 or 200 hours game time and they are pretty dangerous. So I would go with these first:


Battleship encounter with some escort ships:

argon_battleship_patrol_xl_01
antigone_battleship_patrol_xl_01
paranid_battleship_patrol_xl_01
holyorder_battleship_patrol_xl_01
teladi_battleship_patrol_xl_01
ministry_battleship_patrol_xl_01
zyarth_battleship_patrol_xl_01
court_battleship_patrol_xl_01

For each race one battleship group containing a battleship, a destroyer (maybe with its own escort) and some fighters.

That's great thanks. I'll pull out your jobs.xml and see what I need to create for a "dif" & test for the next version. I'll add them as a "hostile_taskforce" as they probably shouldn't be encountered too often.

The good news is that I've added all the dif entries for the XR "jobs.xml" file including the dependency checks within "content.xml" and I think it all seems to function Ok. I upped the encounter filter for "hostile_taskforce" to something ridiculous and the XR ships seem to be making an appearance OK. The bad news is that I want to finish the piece of work I am currently on (asteroid base variance) before I release the next version which will include the "XR Ship" compatibility.
