Encounters - broken atm

Not working, what am i doing wrong?
Got CoH installed, few mods, none that should conflict and im out in the middle of nowhere and nothing is spawning. 300+km to closest anything.

What am i doing wrong?

What other mods do you have enabled? Some other mods appear to whack Encounters even though that's not their main "thing"...

I dont have any mods that should affect "spawns" of any type...

Is there way to list mods i have? The in-game list is huuuuge as quite a few are not enabled.

A screenshot in-game (or two) would do i think, failing that a screenshot of your extensions folder.

@ Bar4uk - You can enable this mod either with a new game or an existing one. However once it's started generating content if you disable it then there may be some errors within the log file related to macros which no longer exist. However I think that this might not show in-game so you're probably safe to switch it on or off as you wish ;)

I cleaned out my mods. Only "ship packs" and some small utility mods like galaxy explorer and new starts.

Wont work. Started a new game.

How do i take a screenshot of the mods folder? printscreen-button wont work, F12 wont work...

UPDATE: new game start, turning mods on one-by-one to see what conflicts

Runnin my starter ship "way out there" and im seeing asteroid bases and wrecks... Is that the mod working? I never seen these before so i presume it is.

@Swatti - Have you tried the MS "snipping" tool for screenshots?

Yep, that sounds about right... you should see wrecks, crates, asteroids, bases, minefields, abandoned ships etc. etc. and encounter ships (more variety but less of).

I'd be interested if you find which mod is disabling "Encounters". For the next release I'm changing my mod a little to at least eliminate this happening from one major mod out there. I need to think about what changes I need to make to ensure my mod works regardless of what others may try to disable in their mods.

I cleaned out as much as i could. Old un-used mods, they may have been on "once" and tainted the system even when i turned them off.

Seems to work now.

Speaking of... Can i have a version that has combat encounters "in every encounter" ?

When i start a new game, there are some pirates around, then couple hours in and the whole universe is clean of pirates. Only regular races and xenon. I want capture-targets.

I presume the encounters get harder as my combat-rank gets higher?

If you are able to unpack the cat/dat files, you can then tweak the variable "Manager.$EncounterVesselChance" in the main "encounters.xml" file (@ line ~25) to your hearts desire (increase this value to increase ship encounters). Yes I've coded the mod so that things get more aggressive at higher ranks with rewards going up as well.

Ooookkey... New game, again.

Went into the void as soon as the game started. Stuff spawned "as expected" but now ~10hours in nothing spawns no matter how far into the space i fly.

Do i have to fly into the empty or should anything happen if i part my ship (/massive battle-fleet) far from the sector core?
