Rivals of Aether

Mystia Lorelei
Regarding this update
Thank you very much for creating Mistia's workshop. I’ve been enjoying using it.
However, with the update on May 1st, this character has undergone such significant changes that it feels almost like a completely different character. The nerfing of various special moves and the strengthening of normal moves stand out, but there are several issues with this adjustment that I’d like addressed. Below, I’ve listed them in bullet points:

・The UpSP’s pratfall feels like an unnecessary nerf. Mistia’s already fragile recovery has become an even greater weakness, and combined with her lightness, she gets knocked out extremely early. This also restricts her ability to freely pursue opponents off-stage, which is unacceptable.

・The added endlag and 20-frame cooldown on NSpec feel excessive; either one of these adjustments alone would have been sufficient. Combined with the reduced rush distance of FSpec, the combo from NSpec to FSpec for damage racking is no longer viable, leaving Mistia with very few effective damage-building options.

・The buffs to Utilt and UpAir, intended as compensation for these nerfs, are far too underwhelming. Utilt’s vector change means it doesn’t connect into anything regardless of the opponent’s damage percentage, and UpAir’s knockback and vertical range are mediocre. Additionally, the weakness of the second hit not connecting easily remains unchanged, making it difficult to capitalize on the supposed buffs.

・FAir’s reduced knockback has made Mistia’s already challenging KO potential even more difficult. Even relying on UpAir is meaningless if it whiffs or fails to connect properly.

In summary, the impact of the nerfs and the buffs are completely unbalanced. Combos for racking up damage, combos for securing KOs, movement options with FSpec, and Mistia’s own mobility have all been negatively affected, synergizing in the worst possible way.
I understand you’re busy, but I kindly request that you reconsider and rebalance these changes. Thank you for your attention.
