NE2 Overpass Project Eight-Lane (2-4-2)

Road cannot load in game & cannot use road editor after update
After the update on 3 Feb (update lights), the road can no longer be loaded into the game.
All A, B & C parts are failed.

Output log has some messages like:

[LSM] Asset failed: 2376913345.VOP 8lane (4 lane) part A_Data
IOException: Invalid string length 701419
at LoadingScreenMod.MemReader.ReadString () <0x001d0>
...........
Unknown prefab: 2376913345.VOP 8lane (4 lane) part C_Data [Serialization]
Unknown prefab: 2376913345.VOP 8lane (4 lane) part A_Data [Serialization]
Unknown prefab: 2376913345.VOP 8lane (4 lane) part B_Data [Serialization]

After test, you can find the road using road editor. But immediate when you select the road in the editor, another error message prompt and cannot return to game anymore.

Object reference not set to an instance of an object [System.NullReferenceException]

So i loaded the new roads in a save i have and the roads load ok, are you sure you are using the last LSM version?

Hi, I am most likely experiencing same/similar issue like im359. I haven't checked your roads ingame (having some other non-related issues) but assets report gives many errors/missing items/incorrect names for this road from today (3rd Feb 22). Many of them say it is DLC or mod content. I am using LSM temporary mod by Klyte45.

Yes latest LSM was used.
In fact, last LSM was on 2 Feb and playing is fine. After road update on 3 Feb they cannot be loaded in game.
Also I guess road editor did not use LSM but the asset still has problem in road editor.

Is it possible that the file was corrupted when uploading to Steam? Maybe you can share your .crp file for us to have a go.

Surprisingly the asset can be loaded after reboot the PC :steamhappy:
