Seafood meat substitute compatible
By separating the category of "seafood meat" from "raw meat", you will no longer be able to use seafood in place of raw meat in all meal recipes as before.
This is to prevent seafood from being used in dishes such as beef steaks, grilled meat and hamburgers.

You can still use seafood as a substitute for raw meat as you have already patched the fine meal, lavish meal, pemmican, and kibble in Vanilla.

In order to use seafood in place of raw meat in recipes that are added by mod, a patch is required for each recipe.

I currently have patches for some of the "mod meal recipes", but we will accept requests for the missing ones.
but, do not plan to patch recipes where seafood is clearly not a "substitute" for raw meat.

This is a good idea, but you are mildly iccorect - all mods with specific food that requires specific ingridient are inconsistent by great margin by thir authors - hamburgers mostly take chicken and beef, beef stakes are for beef only, grilled meat can be specific fish meat so its up to authors to make their mods logical, not for you (you can just ignore that problem alltogether, you cannot realisticaly make thousands of modders respect that, but you can make this mod globally usable). On the other hand making fish dicriminative on specific supported mods is bad for mod users enjoyment and for other mods that allow other operations on meat like meat drying or other fish meat business.
You do not need to discriminate fish meat from meat.. cause it is already meat.

P.S. Also last week i did eat fish steak, quite tasty :)

Also that brings a lot of work with integration - geez, man, you have too much spare time.
Leave unlogical mod author decisions about making inconsistent "specific ingridient food" recipes to them and go on making intresting mod mechanics, worthwile your time instead of doing tonns of patches

@vovann012347 A dish that is added by a mod is consistently a ”specific dish”. The author needs to think about the ingredients ,nutrition and texture for that dish to make the mod.
In real life, there may be fish steaks, but the "steaks" in the game are probably red meat or alien meat. It is not fish meat by the looks of it, nor is it a dish for fish meat.
If you ask me, there are even vegetable steaks. But in the game, you can't use vegetables for steak, can you? If that's need, someone will just make a mod for it.

Also, I'm not going to create massive patch. Because I don't think that's necessary.

Are there any situations where you have to use fish meat for dishes added in other mods? Of course, all fish can be used in vanilla meals, and the separate categories should make it easier to keep track of ingredients and inventory.
If you want to use fish meat more effectively, you can use my add-on mod.

※Forgive me if my language is immature.
