Ancient Empire 2.0 [Stellaris 4.0]
Is There a Tutorial
Is there a full tutorial for the mod somewhere? With a list of all the different area's and possible event chains. I know there's a lot to the mod, but I don't know what I haven't been able to see/do in game.

Basically...
  • Every system/ship to do with Ancient Empires uses RED text
  • The first archaeology dig (Artificial Structures) will appear on one of your planets/moons, completing this begins the chain
  • TIMING that dig will occur based on when you set "Events Start Time" in the Ancient Empire dialog in 2200/01/01, or by bringing up the menu in Edicts.
  • After which repeat the following items.
  • Find ancient system
  • Setup observatory of primitives, or do Archeology dig, or both.
  • There is an Edict that lets you select/edit some features of the Mod. "Ancient Empire Mod Settings" Eg: Crisis strength, method to build Ancient-Ships, When ancient events begin to happen.
  • This leads to either other ancient systems or ancient techs.
  • Besides regular Stellaris tech research projects there are three other methods
    • Situation Log projects to select/start (which often overlap/draw resources from the 3 regular branches), sometimes in a sub-entry of another Sit-Log entry.
    • After ancient events begin to happen, MORE edicts will appear. A selectable EDICT- [ x ] Research Projects. Choose an available project. Once selected (the border is highlighted) each usually causes a new item to show up the Situation log. Then select THAT thing to begin the actual research.
    • EDICT [x] Ancient Knowledge. Clicking the edict shows a dialog where you can choose among the options, drop-down or pop-up sub options. There is one non-obvious section in the project dialog. Research Special Technologies. Selecting an item in this section usually causes a new tech/ship/item to show up to be researched under the other EDICT.
    • Under ancient knowledge, is Rsearch Ancient Ships - This ALSO works differently, You select the ship-name, yet another dialog appears, and there are FOUR parts of the ship you can begin to research, typically Security, Core, Energy and Weapons systems. Each has a wheel/circle next to it. Click the circle to begin researching that section.
  • Research the techs, fight the ships, analyze the ships, analyze the items in the discovered systems. Build bigger stronger better fleets. Fight the various crises.
  • Basically Stellaris ;).
