Mission 5 starts on the airbase at Artemis

In the last mission, at the end, you heard an incomplete radio message that; an AV42 was going down, well now you have to search for the crew and initiate a rescue with an accompanying AV42.

There are 4 possible last known positions (random) that will be given to you. Fly to the location and use your TGP to search the ground for the AV42, once you are close to the last known position, look out for the rising smoke, within a 3-4 mile radius, lock on with your TGP. You will then have to try and find the crew who will be somewhere within a 3 mile radius of the downed aircraft. Once you get close enough to them, they will call you on the short range radio and give you a distance and bearing from the down AV42, if you haven't already located them. Again lock on to their position with your TGP and the rescue AV42 will land to complete the rescue. However you presence has alerted rebel troops and during the rescue you will have to deal with two incursions, one will be infantry and the other tanks. Both must be destroyed before they get too close to the downed crew, otherwise it's mission fail,

On completion of this task fly back towards Artemis airbase. Your next task will be to prevent a rebel supply boat from docking at one of the docks (random) either on the North, North West or South West of the island. Fly to the given location and search for the boat. You will find two boats but only one of them is the target boat, which will be the one headed inland. Destroy the boat before it gets close to the dock or it will be mission fail.

Your final task will be to search and destroy some enemy units spotted entering the city on the West side of Artemis. There are 4 different (random) locations, but all will involve 4 number various units located on the top of high rise buildings. The targets will include AA, infantry and infantry with shoulder mounted Heat seeking missiles. Head to the city and search for targets with your TGP, destroy all 4 enemy units. I realised during this mission that there was, so far, a distinct lack of destroying units atop tall buildings and thought hey everyone likes to bomb units on skyscrapers don't they?... well here you go!

Once complete return to Artemis airbase and land, that's mission 5 over.
