This species is very small and weak.
Army Damage: -50%
Worker Pop Resources Output: -5%
Pop Housing Usage: -5%
Pop Food Usage: -5%
Beserker
When provoked, this species has a natural tendency to fly into a murderous, unrestrained rage with no regard for their own safety.
Offensive Army Damage: +100%
Moral Damage Inflicted: +50%
Army Damage Taken: +50%
May it be appearence, tone of voice, mannerism, multiple traits or something you just can't quite put your finger on but this species appears to be plainly boring to others.
Amenities from Jobs −10%
Unity from Jobs −5%
Interesting or Cute
+Amenities and Unity from jobs.
But also for an associated leader trait it could be something like;
Celebrity (Any)
+Pop Happiness, Trust Growth, and like Trade Value or Unity Production.
This could also be a good leader trait for some events, similar to the Crawler event and associated trait from the More Events Mod. Maybe stuff like strange fans confronting them, or The Preservers asking if they can have the Celebrity Leader as an outstanding example of your species.
Edit: And as an addition as well to Dellar's Boring, could have like;
Dullard (Any)
-Unity Production, Amenities, Trade value maybe.
This one might also be a good one to set up some sneaky spy bonuses in when the next DLC drops, as boring spies are harder to spot.
Unbound (3)
• Free Pop Resource Output : +5%
• Pop Happiness Without Slaves : +5%
• Slave Pop Resource Output : -50%
Land of the Free (Ruler)
• Free Pop Resource Output : +5%
• Pop Happiness Without Slaves : +5%
• Slave Pop Resource Output : -25%
• Unrest : +100%
Iconoclasts (-3)
• Government Ethics Attraction : -50%
• Unity : -20%
These were probably my 2 fav traits from the last mod. I mostly liked them because of the little description you gave them and the fact that I pinned them on my species since they were naturally rebellious. Mostly asking for RP reasons tbh but I can see how the unbound trait could be a little OP. I'd make the suggestion to add them in but change the unbound a bit

I don't really have any changes for Iconoclasts, they did good as they did in my normal games. Not terrible early game, lots of unrest and aids late game across my empire. But if I did a good job, they wouldn't rebel. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, I have a rebellion mod that made rebellions more aids to deal with. So I'd constantly have political groups making forts on planets and threating to dissolve the empire into civil war. That was the reason why I liked these 2 traits. If you can, please add them back!! But if not, oh well. I'll stick to Deviants (vanilla) and Humble (this new mod) though...the flavor of having my empire be threatened with civil war by the end game won't be as extreme. Idk, up to you. But I'd love to see an addition/rebalanced version of the mod.
It was a good fit for pacifistic species and polities. However, with all the bonuses you can get to max Level, I think that in addition to -2 max Level and some kind of Army malus, it should also increase the Hire Cost of Admirals and Generals by something like 100%. Maybe their Upkeep too.
I’m also sceptical about Traits that increase the need for Housing being genuinely bad. With the 3.0 changes, savvy players will over-provide Housing to maximize POP Growth, early on, and will continue to do so well into the mid game.
