It would be cool if we could also cause primitives to regress to the previous age as well as advance them. My narcassistic space wizards would love to find some late-age primitive civ, regress them back to the iron age, and make them worship them as gods (which would also be cool to have as a Obs post stance).

MayhemX8: Interesting idea mayhem. And shouldn't be so hard to implement. Maybe I will add that with the next update as well as the machine origin.

To everybody: I have seen a lot of people that wish to edit the new species they create before seeding them and have tried to implement that feature in the past 3 days. It took me hours and yet I couldn't find a solution for this... Some people said I should look into the Life Engineering mod as it has this feature but unfortunately you can only choose species class in this mod (Mammalian, Humanoid etc.). Traits are still randomized. Also the mod is very old so I can't actually play it to see how this feature actually looks ingame. I'm sorry for this but for now I will conentrate on adding other features and may try again in the future.

If you do add the "worship us as gods xenos!" stance, could you make the stance produce Zro (in miniscule amounts obviously) and unity (maybe 6 per civ)? Everyone else always does weird stuff like minerals and science. The offerings are not what is important to my space wizards, only their faith, because it gives the wizards power!

Not an idea but I want to ask if you would like to integrate the features from this old mod. It is very interesting and certainly fit theme of this mod.

Gigastructural Engineering's author got the permission long ago but he never got around integrating it. Hope you can revive the mod, it would be a shame to see it collects dust like that.

Hey, any integrations with the Necroids DLC?
As in perhaps "Harrowing Seed", where you look into creating a seed for necrophages where the final goal is to invade later after they ferment?

Would be nice, if you could send out seed-ships of your own origin (humanoid, mamal, insectoid etc.). Would make sense to spread out the very own seed instead of raising any kind of minor civilization.
Reasoning, seed-ships are ment to spread your own kind instead of supporting any found pre-civilization, where you take what you get and manipulate them into your own culture.

Might it be possible to make a "lite" version of this mod/a few smaller versions with fewer of the features? My friends and I are really interested in the Seeder ship idea for our modpack but the leviathan breeding overlaps heavily with gigastructures, which we also use. Making a couple of smaller mods with only some of the features could make the whole project a lot more flexible in that regard

would be nice to start out as a primitive civ and research the old stone techs all the way up to atomic age i think. (i think space flaring is the last era). Adding new primitive buildings for each era and new units too. Not sure if the base game would allow this, do to the fact that you start out as a flaring empire anyway.

I feel like the stronger creatures are a bit too cheap to build. (Etherdrakes and up)
Could have increased prices. And a build queue for all creatures would make it seem more polished and also balanced, like a normal shipyard, so they take time and don't just spawn instantly.

- Would be nice to have more indoctrination options : Make them embrace certain values (instead just player's), make them become fanatic purifier, make them hate an existing empire ai / fallen empire (ie for religious reason)
- Cause events like nuclear war (% chance to have survivors with pops with special traits or something), push AI technology and have % chance to have some rogue AI take over, advance their war technology to the point they have special ships that are generally stronger etc ...

- When paired with mod like gigastructures, ACOT etc ... I haven't tested yet but I imagine Leviathans will be left in the dust. Some new technologies to boost them would be nice?

In the "Creaters" Origin, you should spawn with a few (1? 2?) primative empires in your own solar system, one of which is just like yours. ONly difference is, they are a space-age organization, and in, say, 20 years, they will declare nuclear war. Can you, and will you, save them?

ow about the ability to make pre-sapients? Pre-sapients get special traits that could be extra-helpful.

The mod is fun but it's a little OP. Being able to breed the leviathans instantly plus the fact that even the lowest tier creatures can make a hella powerful fleet for really cheap makes things a little hard to appreciate. Maybe add more cool downs or make the tech higher cost. I think needing ascension perks is a good idea but again, once I get the perk I can pop a leviathan into existence with no build time. I was able to get the Stellar Devourer (SD) in the first 100 years so I had a 200k+ leviathan that could instantly obliterate an entire star system. Adding a build timer to creatures would help, and maybe make the SD run through the colossus animation so the enemy has time to react instead of just being able to press the kill button and exterminate everything.

Basically I suggest adding build times to make acquiring creatures take longer, make the tech harder to acquire, and maybe lower the fleet power of the creatures so they aren't so strong.

Would like to see "gene seed purification" removed from the requirements as that forces you to take the engineered evolution perk in order to get seed ships preventing player from going psychic route or flesh is weak --> Synthetic Evolution route. Playing with after rapture mod and rebuilding the galaxy (using Terraforming Colossus mod and what have you) would like to be able to use seed ships without having to be forced into engineered evolution (or having to console in the tech for seed ships).
