nah it's a good idea so stuff doesn't get lost
YepThatsMyName 22 Apr, 2021 @ 4:01am
Schizophrenia: Commonly hears random zombie mouns, thumps on windows/doors and footsteps. (I wanted the trait to randomly spawn zombies which when too close would dissapear but that would require some complicated stuff and spawning)

Eagle eyed and short-eyed (The bad trait) should affect aiming (If they dont)

Hunched Back: You will feel more encumbered than others (The character gets overencumbered moodlets easier, Like Slightly Overencumbered just after 0.5 points of weight)

Shaky body: Trips and drops stuff way more commonly

Anatidaephobia: Constant slight panic/stress. Hears quacks and honks from time to time

Blinker: The screen will randomly fade out (Not go to sleep, just be dark for a little while) for like 4-5 seconds randomly, which increases the more tired your character is

Imaginative: Boredness and unhappines slightly increase if no other problems are ongoing (You are not stressed, panicked, hungry (Not peckish) and thirsty (Not dry mouthed)

Ashtma Attacks: Sometimes, your endurance extremely quickly falls to the lowest (Red) level. Chest pains also occur.

Fashion Person: You gain happynes if more than x clothes are on you. If less than x, you lose happynes
Nudist: You gain happynes if less than x clothes are on you. If more than x, you lose happynes

Cataract: The world feels darker for you

Wimp: Screams in Pain

Hentai Artist: You seen and made some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up ♥♥♥♥. You no longer gain or lose happynes and boredom ( + Stress but that would be OP)

Posting here to keep track of it:

-Need to figure out how to do FoV and LoS mods
-Need to figure out how to control the fog of war
-Need to figure out movement speed

Caffeine Freak: Works almost identically to the smoker trait except with coffee/pop. Gives a debuff just like smoker except once the need is fulfilled you get a buff. Most likely a speed or combat speed buff. Potentially both.

Also you could make organized a chance based gain for every x amount of items. Like 10% chance for 1k items, 20% for 2k and etc.. I managed to get organized in about eight days just from finalizing base storage. Lucky could also affect the chance. Unlucky as well. For me the acquisition of the perk would feel more organic that way, as well as making every run Unique. That's just personal opinion though.

My favorite thing to do in this game is make characters but I feel like the game could use more negative traits and double edge swords or positive traits that you play around, I've had a few ideas that maybe a bit too complicated for a mod though but I hope are still interesting. :spiffo:

Old.
"You've got one foot in the grave"
The player's strength, knock back, push back, vision, carry weight, walking/running/jogging speed, endurance, endurance recovery, wakefulness, health recovery, illness resilience, and damage resilience are lowered.

Afraid of the Dark.
The player becomes panicked in dark rooms and being outside at night, hearing and fighting zombies in dark rooms or outside at night will give additional panic.

Too Cool for School.
The player will gain boredom from reading experience books/magazines, additionally reading normal books and newspapers will also increase boredom and not increase happiness. This trait however will *NOT* effect normal magazines or comic books.

Paranoia.
The player will become stressed faster. being around corpses, bloody, wearing bloody cloths, wearing/using bloody bandages, and being scratched will increase stress. Being bitten will *IMMEDIATELY* max your panic and stress.

Depression/Fate Acceptance.
"If I'm going to die here, I'm ready"
The player will become unhappy faster, killing zombies lowers happiness, all happiness gained is haft, all unhappiness gained is doubled. When the player reaches max unhappiness they will *Accept Their Fate* in this state the player's damage, knock back, push back, defense, running speed, aim, reload speed, and stealth are heavily reduced. Once the debuff wears off the player will be given a temporary mood buff *Fate Accepted* doubling all happiness gained and all unhappiness is half.

Little Buddy.
"Its you and me vs the world. -Spiffo"
The player starts with a Spiffo doll. The doll will talk to the player giving tips and make conversation about the players mental and physical state and can *slightly* occasionally buff the player agents boredom, unhappiness, stress, and panic. However losing the doll will quickly send the player into a mental breakdown by becoming panicked, unhappy, and in pain the player will also begin shouting at random calling out for Spiffo until the doll is found or replaced.

Has a Limp.
The player cannot run, jogging speed reduced heavily, walking speed reduced.

Clutter Bug.
The player has decreased carry weight and storage space.

Pack Rat.
The player has increased carry weight and storage space.

Picky Eater.
The player prefers cooked/prepared food, eating random canned food and vegetables will lower happiness. The player will not eat random cooking ingredients, bugs, rats/mice, or any rotten food. Any junk food or fruits are not effected by this trait unless they are rotten.

Psychopath/Cat Killer.
when the player kills a zombie they gain *Blood Rush* a buff that increases attack damage, attack speed, movement speed, wakefulness, and immediately refunds a small amount of endurance. killing zombies with *melee* weapons refunds additional endurance, killing zombies with *blunt* weapons refunds greater additional endurance.

Cannibal.
"If you can't beat them . . ."
The player can butcher corpses for meat.

You have a nice selection of traits but TOO MANY can't be done. For example:
-The Spiffo one can be done, just making him talk is probably not possible
-Depression: DON'T GET ME STARTED. Buffs? Not possible, unless they are hidden. Making custom moodlets is probably impossible right now. This can be probably added but it's gonna be a hell of a chore for the creator to do
-Paranoia: I like this one, But the homophobia (The scared of blood) parts should be removed and only faster stress gain + injuries scare should be in.
-Old is good, but just like Depression, a chore to get in.
-For cannibal, download Exotic Meats
-Psychopath is kinda like sadist, but it also would be a chore

Certain other traits from your suggestion can be found in another mod "More Traits", they can be found there.
Has a limp is probably just has always a broken leg, so I guess that can be added

That's a great idea.

add more carry-weight trait volumes as some mods are very excessive in making heavy gear add up,

and add a s&m trait that combines the emotion gains along with making it so you take far less damage and deal far more due to knowing how to make something truly know pain, and having found euphoria in the extremes not only makes it so that your pain not only grants you pleasure you also are never slow down as it only makes you stronger.

add the ultimate consumer, you eat anything with out ANY consequence and you gain 4 times the nutrients along with regenerating wounds far faster when fed and your never truly full as every time you eat when you are "sated" you not only gain even more nutrients but also trigger a regeneration on a random wound,

the Un-die-ing you always get infected wounds over time but instead of festering they replace your wounds and regenerate the damage first bleed then wound depth then wound itself then infection, always leaving scars if possible you never take damage from bleed duration

blood lust and demon blooded: blood based skills that make it so that seeing / being around blood gives you euphoria a persisting emotion buff that makes your boredom and unhappiness drop and stay that way days afterwords. and spreading new blood give euphoria and stacks it which extends the duration a day, it also provides blood lust status which makes you faster stronger, and hit harder in all forms including shooting.

blood god: gives a status that is proportioned to the amount of dead around you that are now reduced to their final rest and has a second stat called desecration where ether moving body's or having more then one in a area grant you boons that are extremely powerful but the number of corpses desecrated or permeating a house area stacks both time and to a extent potency of the boons... this perk replaces the consequence of leaving a huge amount of dead in your living area and living with the gore.

unyealding: you never tire aslong as your other needs are met.

unending: you never starve as long as your other needs are met

unbreaking: you never meseriable as long as your other needs are met

unfailing: your never bord as long as your other needs are met

immortal: your condition never gose critical untill all your stats reach zerro (this stat once triggerd requires you to refill your stats fully then sit and Meditate for a weaks time total to regain the trats beneifets otherwise your trait is called : fallen god

hell born (immune to all fire but when stressed or heavly damaged, or a stats lowerd to close to zerrow setts fire to a house size area in a "explosion" that dosent effect you besides healing all wounds and restoring all your stats) along with a extra skill/ abillity that can be activated when your right click your charicter, called hell walker: which spreads fire from your footsteps and every attack and bullet fired
ton10p 21 Jun, 2021 @ 7:15pm
hyper lifter: never go over weight as the more weight you have the more you can lift, stronger you are, and tougher it is to make wounds on you along with making your wounds and damage more and more inneffective, also makes it so that you cant brake your bones..
ton10p 21 Jun, 2021 @ 7:30pm
euphoria the trait: makes it so that most things you do make you beyond happy (similar to emotionless only you feel bliss from most sources... even things that it shouldn't.... (comment from trait holder"pain is bliss, if only the whole world knew") invert the effect from pain and its description... until you would expect someone to go mad from the intensity, then add the stats effect blind bliss which starts a increasing drop in sight, hearing, balance, accuracy, reactivity, until 4 hours later your character go's beyond bliss which then they wake up 4 days later thirsty but with a temporary mood boost and stat boost that lasts 3 in game weeks until on the 4th it starts lowly decreasing in effect until it fades with the character sighing and remarking on missing the pain.... in order to get this event one needs to be effectively die-ing on pain, which usually do not effect those who have the trait but the mind has limits thus it begins to shut down but in doing so makes it more effective as the brain shifts focus from withering the mind braking pain to shutting down the minds active process
Strange Palate: Food that would normally bother others are acceptable to you. Unhappiness debuffs from frozen food, stale food, or food such as cold steak are nonexistent. Raw pasta and similar foods will still give unhappiness, but will be decreased. Cooking recipes that would normally give unhappiness will give you happiness. (For example, 3 carrots 1 cabbage, and mayo in a salad).

Picky Eater: Food with negative mood effects affect you more so than others. Unhappiness will also be applied to anything that's not prepared in a cooking recipe, such as carrots.

Persistent: Debuffs from negative moodlets (such as movement speed, item transfer speed) affect you less.

[some word about eye problems]: Unable to zoom out past a point, such as 125% or 100% zoom level.

[some word about low pain tolerance]: Pain can make you stressed, and being in agony makes you feel sick to your stomach.

and now something that is probably too gimmicky and unable to be implemented with mods.

Nuclear Immune System: Receiving the zombie infection causes your immune system to go on a rampage, destroying the infection along with many of your own cells in the process. Disease resistance is almost non-existent after your immune system is done, and you will have successfully survived one bite. You will be left extremely vulnerable to untreated wound infections, as well as any illnesses such as the flu or common cold, as they will run rampant in your body freely.
Wolf401 11 Jul, 2021 @ 2:57am
Rage: when sadness or panic are full with zombies in sight, health drains (about 10 hours from full to empty health bar) but damage and speed increases, rage can be taken with cowardly but will not activate damage or speed until its gone, brave increases the damage and speed but also the health drain doubles, desensitized gives damage and speed increase like brave but the health cost goes down by half (cost: 5 points)
