A simple review from an average guy. (4/5)
So, seeing as I am not a mapper or experienced in map creation in general, take this review as you want. This is more from an average player stumbling across the map.

This map (so far) has been a pleasant experience to go through, I only have a few things that could be done to make this map work better.

Length

If this is meant to be one chapter then it feels too long. There is one place I propose a saferoom could be placed to give the needed break in between chapters seeing as at the end of this experience, I had gotten about 423 kills with the bots gaining just under 300 each.

After this second crescendo event, a safe room could be placed here, possibly with the survivors closing the shutter door after getting inside the saferoom. Try to avoid chapters being so long in case a team fails near the end and has to start from the very beginning.

Bots getting stuck in certain places

Coach had gotten stuck on the ladder in the house with the first crescendo event but was able to get out of it after running back to him and pushing him through. I don't know how this could be changed in any way and might just be down to dumb AI. Nick has also gotten stuck on a table but I was unable to screenshot it in time. He teleported out before I got a screenshot.

Minor Tweaks

The wording here can be changed and;

The general scenery could do with some improvement so they don't look as square.

In conclusion, this map was a nice little play through and I would like to see the next part of this campaign. I hope that this review can be of help to you and your mapping career in the future. It is a nice open map, a bit too open at times but that isn't too much of an issue. Overall, a very nice playthrough.

Hey Rev, thanks for the honest review.

Regarding your points:

LENGTH
I agree that the map may be a little too long and was initially planning on creating a safe-room under the tunnel near the park exit, but i would not have been happy with the amount of content in each section of the map once it gets split up. It was a little experimental to see how a more open map would work out but i agree that the shorter snappy maps of the original L4D2 maps feel better than the latest 'Last Stand' campaign and ill try to do it more like that if i decide to maps more maps.

BOTS
Yeah the navmesh is a little off, i'm not sure if i can fix the ladder issues but i think the table part should be a fairly simple fix, ill update it in an update.

TWEAKS
The wording on the crescendo event is like that because that specific event is made by using scripts not editable to us unless there's a bunch of decompiling and value changing involved, i'm not experienced in doing yet but once i get the hang of it ill come back and update this.

The final sections of the map look a little scuffed because i started to rush the map. After 5 months in development i just wanted to get it done and see if it was worth the time i sunk into this. I'm not sure if ill try to fix these up as they are fairly time consuming to edit and recompile, but with the smaller map approach in the future ill be able to condense the detailing so there should be less of these bad visuals.

Thanks for taking the time to write this review up, ill will definitely be thinking about these points for when i continue the campaign :)

Oh btw, a couple more things that could be done that I missed out on the typing of my review.

Missing textures

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2459982995

I had found this when showing the map to one of my friends and forgot to screenshot it so i hopped on the now and got it this time.

Voice lines

This could be added in at any point but when i played, there was pretty much no dialogue throughout the campaign. It aint a necessity but would be nice to have some conversation throughout so it isnt just silence until you see something or need to go somewhere.

Thank you for getting back to my original review and hopefully it can help you with the creation of this map. The map is really fun to play through, I have had good experiences throughout and I would like to see how the finale will turn out!

Keep up the great work and take your time with it.

Ill deffo get that texture patched when the finale is released!

Regarding voice lines, i'm not sure if i can change them, i was under the assumption that the AI director decided them all, but ill look into it and see if it can add a few.

Thanks alot!

No worries bro, regarding voice lines, I dont know but it is a shot in the dark but maybe you can set triggers which can activate certain voice lines to play maybe? idk its just a guess.

Have a good day!
