What is this discussion?

As the title states, i want people to use this forum to report bugs and give feedback to the creator. It helps keep things sorted and it wont get lost in the comments.

Why did you make this?

I feel like the comment section isnt the best way to provide feedback, new people to the mod would need to go trough comments to check what has been already said. This way could help the creator keep track of things easier.

How do i take part?

Anyone can make a report, if its a small or big thing, just make sure theres a decent enough description for the mod creator to go off from. Giving screenshoots or clips helps a lot as well, so if you encounter a bug and its something you cant describe, feel free to include an image trough imgur.

Okay, but what exactly do i report?

Anything that you dont feel like should be happening, like mod incompabalities, things being a bit too weak or powerful, balancing issues,this funny haha enemy crashing your game because somehow they dropped 20 relic chests

Do you work with the creator?

No, i dont work with them, this discussion is purely made by my own intent to support them and help others express issues they encounter. Im just another player of the mod who wants the best for it and wants to support the creator.

Closing bits

Please be respectful for others, read other posts if something is already reported, although duplicate posts help identify more important issues. As i said before i am also just a fan of the mod, im not responsible for what changes the creator takes, i just want an easier spot for everyone to state their encounters and issues.

Heres some things i already encountered myself:
Pot of Gold, mod incompability If Gokis Things has "desintegrate corpses" on, the gold drops never happen.

Fyring pan, bug(?) all of player projectiles seem to instantly explode when fired, causing no damage to enemies and making a puff of fire.

Midas necklace, balancing Once an enemy is hit with midas projectile they'll drop gold after every hit. With health buffed enemies its very easy to basically get infinite money.

Hmmmm, well, I don't think that can be worked out since both mods probably modify the same aspects regarding how enemies die.

That's odd. The Frying Pan actually destroys enemy projectiles, but sometimes can also destroy your own spells if they bounce back. Have you encountered this with a specific combination of relics, or using just it?

Well, that's another case of an accidental synergy. What do you suggest to mitigate this? Maybe not applying the effect at all if an enemy is buffed?

It happened twice, at first i had other relics, but i removed them in the holy mountain and with just the pan my projectiles exploded, second time i got just the pan alone, same thing happened. It also happened in the mines, so i didnt have any perks or special spells that could trigger it, just one of the starting wands.

I feel like disabling the midas effect on already buffed enemies is the easiest way to go about this, unless you somehow can limit how much gold an enemy can drop, maybe equal to just their health, but its probably more difficult than just disabling the effect.

Limiting is kinda difficult because the amount of blood spilled is not controllable. I think I'm gonna go for the simplest approach to fix it faster.

Loving the mod so far, especially the extra powerful enemies.

Disarm is a huge annoyance though - I'd love an option in the settings to toggle whether enemies can use it. My main issue is that I'm not expecting it and so if I'm normally switching items during a fight, I may not notice that my item was dropped until later.
Disarm also appears to not only disarm wands, but also drop items (or maybe I'm getting disarmed, switching to an item, and then throwing it unintentionally?). I've lost 3 elemental stones and couldn't find them after the fight.

Also, the blessed shield doesn't protect against disarming though the description indicates it is meant to.

I've really been loving this mod so far, however there is a huge problem that has made it difficult to fully enjoy. So, from playing with the mod, it seems "accidental" kills do not make the enemies drop the relic chests, this may be on purpose but the problem is that many effects from the relics either count as accidental kills or make the enemies unable to die (for example: tesla coil and the mind probe respectively (something like that that makes the enemy friendly to you)) which means if you find certain relics which may be super useful, might also make it almost impossible to get any more relics if you don't get rid of it.

Like I said, this mod is great and adds another layer of randomness to each run but this problem has caused quite a bit of disappointment(from killing a tough enemy for no extra reward), it would be great if you could look into a fix/change to this. Thanks

Found a bug with the mystic lens while I was messing around. For some reason the lens was causing the damage of my magic spark to go down to 2dmg per hit from the normal 3, meaning that the damage was nerfed rather than buffed. Here's a video of me showcasing the bug but it's pretty blurry so you might not be able to read the damage numbers. https://imgur.com/gallery/dcU1X84

I'm pretty sure this is just on your end. "Accidental kills" always drop relic chests for me since a couple updates ago.

Hey, the water poison flask ends up making you take halve your health on enemies that aren't vulnerable to water. This is because the relic makes them vulnerable to water, so the next time you hit them, your hp gets halved. I'm pretty sure it was intended that water poison flask only hurts you when yo hit a fire mage.

Explosive nanites can be stacked infinetely on statues, which will result in infinite amount of auras, and that will lead to a crash.
