P2M freezing players on server when updating visleaf / refreshing client.
From my experience myself and several others on the IJWTB server have been experiencing an issue with P2M ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over the players when loading, and even after finishing the download they will be stuck and unable to move for several minutes.

From what I've come to understand it's a recent gmod net-code change that has caused this problem to appear, and it's a serious detriment to the game.

It's repeatable by the following:
Reloading a visleaf.
Reloading client using the record a ;stop command.
Connecting to the server while a build with p2m is spawned.

I haven't changed anything to do with the networking in months

I went onto the IJWTB server just now and it did lag for like 5 seconds every time I left the visleaf but I cant replicate it on other servers or on local games. (server only had one guy with a p2m with 100 models on it, I tried with many thousands of models, no lag or delays at all)

On IJWTB we had to remove all P2M controllers so people dont freeze.
I'm not sure what's going on with it because Thomas never changed anything with it and it should be up to date

haven't updated anything network related since may 1st, 5 months ago

dunno what to suggest really :/

Pretty sure it was the recent gmod update that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with something, not on your end.

There haven't been any gmod feature updates since June as far as I can tell

even if there have been I can't attempt anything without specifics

Tried to replicate it on Meta, had no effect.
Might be a problem with something on IJWTB, told Thomas about it, waiting for response.
