I did have a bug in one campaign run where all event timers on geoscape ended up paused and would never complete, though I cannot replicate this, nor have I had this issue in my second campaign. However outside of console commands to force lose the extraction missions, it is somewhat of a soft lock for the extraction missions or a straight up unplayable campaign from the aforementioned geoscape issues.
Tried sending this via steam messages but I assume it didn't go through.
That Geoscape one is weird and never seen before, but I have seen the extraction missions go weird on someone elses computer: this one seems intermittent alike the issues with Faction Evolution. If willing, can you post your save file to a fileshare link and pass it to me so I can load locally and see if there's a difference occuring across machines, or wether it's in configuration itself?
Thank you for letting me know, and no, sorry, nothing came through on DM, my apologies.
Yeah I just thought I'd give the heads up about it nothing major as they can still be killed. Just hard to see at times. :P
Next time the issue pops up I'll upload it and send it your way, but so far all good in this 3rd run.
It's all good. No need to apologise. Hope you are doing well!
Did they run up to people using both actions, or just wander close by, try to self-destruct and fail??
We're round the corner from 1.8 now which has several performance and AI improvements embedded, with a new mixed-meta substructure, but will add this to bug reports to see if it's replicable :)
There is no issues with Resistance Upgrades or any need to load the MCM in game as the O+E prior configures it.
Sorry but we don't offer bugfixing for self-modified or incomplete setups. Please follow the instructions provided in the INI pack to properly install the O+E.
This is one that's actually not entirely intentional. This happens when the game can't find appropriate enemies for an encounter, and will default to the first in the list; however, if it wasn't done last update, we know we have since changed those encounter lists to remove certain units to prevent the issue, though we are delayed in release by Savage Hudson who's pending update needs to release before ours.
We have resolved, as best we can find, any errant AI issues that cause freezing (fun AI logic loops), and are trying to fix the mission crashing on load issue some people are having.
As always, trying to make many mods that are deliberately incompatible all work together can be difficult, as anything updating can overwrite the O+E files, but we are always grateful for your patience and reporting any issues, ideas or problems you find, major or minor.
We hope to have the update out by this weekend, and if necessary, will move ahead of SH, so that those who wish to can reapply it when SH releases.
Thank you all for your time, and sorry for the disruption to your campaigns!!
Edit: Spent quite a few hours trying to find the mod(s) that cause it to not work with not much success. I would be shocked if anyone was able to get this collection to work.
Can you send me your log file. We know what causes this issue and your log file would be very useful towards locating where the error is =)
