Report a translation problem
additional info: the car feels like it has no connections to the wheels/steering .. bearings are moveable not stiff like normal
tried solutions: reinstall the whole game, new map, new car, new construction, new connections

i started the game, it downloaded a new version of your mod. then i created a new map, scanned the racetrack and started it. the car didnt move

This error is within the new track generator code (updated last night), the scan should be seeing all turns but is not scanning properly. Unfortunately the car does not move if the track isn't scanned, I am looking for ways around this.
Apologies. I pushed the update without fully testing.

now with the track generator, It was a silly mistake that I definitely should have caught except for the fact that it was 2 am when I pushed it lol
Edit: If it does work, please try out your faster car and let me know if that is fast enough.
If it is still too slow: don't worry, I will be adding custom speed control in the near future!

the car in the video worked a lot of times perfectly. i rebuild it and same problem
Do you mind Crouch Interacting the track scanner to toggle the colors? it seems like something may be broken there (blue should be right turns, red should be left)
Also do you mind interacting (toggling debug) on the Driver block too? if everything is set up properly, it should show the car scan and car ID
The first solution would be to break the driver block then re-placing/connecting it. There may be something wrong with the car dimensions not being saved properly. (I also recommend saving the creation again afterwards so that it won't revert back)
The final and actual way that I can know EXACTLY what is going on is if you set the launch option of SM to "-dev" and then try again. It will print a whole lot of information, hopefully including the error.
I am trying to replicate exactly what you did (I unfortunately do not have the same car)
and it worked for me. So this makes me think that there is something wrong with your specific car. (I recommend the -dev mode to hopefully find out completely)
i have rebuild the wole car and replaced and reconected the driveblock a lot of times .from now on i will use your vehicles to test them, unfortunately they don't work either.

It should be setting the first segments as nodes 1-66 and then 66-81
For some reason, the log is skipping it.

AHA!! IT is indeed the case, you actually did not get the updated code for some reason...
I'm checking those exact lines and I have changed the statement that prints to line 870 to
"Setting Between segment (start)"... and I also removed the "SIMPLYFI CHAIN" statement. those should not even be there at all.
Maybe try unsubscribing and re-subscribing to the mod.
