I suggest to reskin the Indian Elephants,both the armoured and the non-armoured variants to make them look more...."eastern". But so that only the elephants for Parthia look different not the other faction's elephants,too.
Because right now the mahouts and the soldiers in the towers look more hellenic than eastern. At least in my game...but that maybe because I use a bunch of other unit and reskin mods.

I pretty sure that is a mod of yours. This is the unit that is also used by the Bactrians and Seleucids so they would be fairly eastern. The mahouts in my game are certainly eastern, you can see from my screenshots.
Ok so I looked into the elephant skins. The riders and mahouts of the Seleucids and the Baktrians are both unique. Epirus also uses Indian elephants and those are the same mahouts and riders of Parthia. Any suggestions on how I could make them look eastern for Parthia again yet keeping the unique ones for the Seleucids, Baktria and Epirus?

Units that are shared between different factions all have the same skins, the only things that differ are the colours. You must have a mod that reskins them for those factions, therefore reskining them for Parthia as well. The only way to make them unique is by creating a clone unit that is it's own unit but has the same stats. This would be very easy to do. I'll look into doing it tomorrow for you.
It is true I use a Seleucid reskin mod and a Baktrian roster expansion mod that also reskins all Baktrian units. Now the thing is that Seleucid and Baktrian elephants differ in their appearance in game. Those of Epirus and Parthia don't. So...Eprius is fine acutally because the mahouts and riders look like native greeks but native greeks on the elephants of Parthia just seem...well you know. ^^

Ok Chocolate Jesus, I have added the elephants as their own unit. That should fix the skin for you.
So Sebidee, I just checked the elephants and the "normal" non-armoured elephants of Parthia are still hellenic but the armoured ones now indeed look eastern. So thank you very much for your commitment and time. But may I ask you to make the non-armoured elephants of Parthia their own unit aswell so we got that fixed, too?

Well my mod does nothing for that unit and it would be a little more trouble as I would have to remove that Elephant unit from the roster to put in the clone. Removing units is a little more difficult and would also significantly increase the size of the mod. I'll try to whip up something but it would probably be easier to change the mod that reskins them.
Well anyway I can live with greeks in the Parthian Army. Maybe they are mercenaries. ^^ Still...thank you so much for everything you do and especially for this mod, you did a good job.

First of all, great Job with this mod. I just want to say the units look beautiful! As a suggestion, what about making Swordsman available as Generals?

Hi Sebidee, great unit mod you did here! I originally just took it for the Elephants, but came to enjoy your custom units even more!
However, I believe the Armoured Elephants hould be in the Exotic Animals Stable III, rather than the Heavy Horse IV, wouldn't you agree?

I had thought that the exatic stables would make it too easy to get them. I am planning on switching as you said and giving them a technology requirement,

They are tied to the last Management tech in my game. I think CA did that in one of the last patches (haven't played in a while), since i can't think of a mod I have installed that does alter the tech tree. Anyways, thanks for the quick reply!
