Ok so, the actual patch itself isn't one of those much bigger one's but if you're at all familiar with Combat Extended, then the whole of it's system's work off of a sort of loadout system, primarily for the use of making sure hostile pawns spawn into the map with their correct ammunition. I'm not certain of how it works entirely, but with what I can tell through this specifically, you made new units for the races and have them armed with weapons from rim effect, resulting in better looking unit's. That being said, CE is also dependent on these classes as when a pawn spawns in with an unpatched class, then they have just their weapon with no spare munitions, leaving them rather vulnerable and broken in the opposite manner. It's totally fine if you're not a CE user and I already poked them about it, but I was going to let you know that the new classes made for the two mods won't spawn in with their needed munitions for their weapons is all.

I don't know how well it would work but Reapers would be an absurd yet neat faction. ^^

Asari and Reapers are the next Rim-Effect module being released. If you check out the teams Patreon, you can see info about it. So, it would be probably a waste of time for the mod author to add something that is already in beta testing by the Vanilla Expanded team :)
