Suggestion on politics
One thing which bothered me from launch of IR, is the lack of consistency between different mechanics. What the devs did up until the 2.0 update was really to tie everything (almost) together into a whole. But one thing bothered me, that missions were things that for example the senate didn´t weigh in on. It would be such a cool feature to have senate approval for undertaking certain actions. For example, to initiate a mission. And perhaps decide how to go about completing it.

It would make politics more interesting. In the case of kingdoms, I guess that parties in that sense are replaced by different heirs in the line of succession having their opinions etc

Missions are the easy way out to force ai to behave in a more historical fashion as it seems to give priority to missions over everything else and will even backstab long term allies with multiple marriges to complete it. Missions are to rigid (for example conquer these regions - even though you might have a long term ally in that province) and force you into decisions you probably wouldnt take otherwise. Missions should be more dynamic and less strict, for example 51% of the mission complete, when taking territory is the mission should be enough to finish it. AI is really the biggest issue in single player games and I doubt there is any semblance of ai in this game, no different from famously bad total war ai
