Unique Sins Attack Patterns (Idea Dump)
Decided to make some simple concepts of how sins would behave with different "skins"...

Basement - The default, vanilla sins

Cellar
Lust - Every so often, spawns 1-2 Spiders and a puddle of white creep.
Envy - Every split, spawns a Spider and a puddle of white creep. The smallest heads spawn Sacks.
Wrath - Spawns Sticky Bombs that explode into white creep and Spiders.
Greed - Spawns Trites instead of Hoppers. Fires white shots that leave puddles of white creep.
Sloth - Creates large puddles of white creep with ipecac shots. Spawns Spiders instead of Chargers.
Pride - Spawns 2-3 Sacks instead of Troll Bombs.
Gluttony - Spawns multiple Swarm Spiders instead of Brimstone. Spawns a single Spider instead of blood shots.

Note: Super Sins do not appear in Chapter 1.

Will update this from time to time with ideas for other floors.

Depths greed should spawn sticky leapers, and Sheol wrath should have brimstone bombs. I’d enjoy inputting way more, as I do like formulating ideas, but I feel you should do you, unless extra help is needed.

I agree with wrath tbh but Sticky Leapers should be reserved for Dank Depths.
Unless you meant regular Leapers :dip:

Burning Basement

Lust - Starts slower but increases in speed as she takes damage, akin to Crispies. Occassionally leaves small flames behins (like Candlers)
Envy - Randomly briefly stops in place to create flames, akin to Candlers. The size of the flame depends on the split stage. The smallest heads also leave a flame upon death.
Wrath - Spawns Hot Bombs.
Greed - Spawns Flaming Hoppers. Fires a flame instead of a triple shot.
Sloth - Ipecac leaves a flame upon landing. Creates a ring of flame projectiles instead of spawning Chargers.
Pride - Sends a spiral of flames outwards instead of troll bombs.
Gluttony - Performs a flamethrower esque attack instead of Brimstone. Releases a ring of 6 flames outwards instead of blood shots.

Alright, hold on.
If this is added, it should be a separate mod for those who just want the cosmetic change...

Caves
Lust - Moves slower in general but gains velocity while moving in straight lines and loses it, when making turns. If she hits a wall, several rocks will fall from the ceiling.
Super Lust - Same change as with Lust.
Envy - After each split, one of the newly created heads will be invincible. After killing all vulnerable heads, the invincible ones will die too.
Super Envy - Same change as with Envy.
Wrath - Spawns Bombs that create rock waves in a + pattern (similarly to Stonr Bombs from Antibirth). The bombs themselves also have a stone-like appearance.
Super Wrath - Spawns two Rock Bombs, one after another, in a quick succession.
Greed - creates two rockwaves on his sides instead of spawning Hoppers. Instead of triple shot, fires a burst of rock projectiles, similarly to Danny.
Super Greed - Spawns for rock waves and fires a larger burst of rocks.
Sloth - Spawns Conjoined Spitties instead of Chargers. Ipecac creates small, circular rock waves.
Super Sloth - Ipecac rock waves are larger and Spiders/Big Spiders are replaced with Chargers.
Pride - Spawns two Boom Flies instead of Troll Bombs. Laser attack is replaced with rock waves in an X pattern.
Super Pride - Spawns two Red Boom Flies and fires several rock projectiles when performing the laser attack.
Gluttony - Brimstone sends him in the opposite way, flying, similarly to one of Visage's attacks. When he slams into the wall, several rocks fall from ceiling. Blood shots become rock projectiles.
Super Gluttony - Lasers are fired consecutively - front first, back next. Releases clusters of rock projectiles.

Since I kinda pointed out this idea, I wanted to say that I have a few Sin ideas of my own (These are pretty complex, but they fit for the difficulty of their area imo. Also they should have much more health to prevent easy instakills):

Gluttony (Corpse): Would catch you with his guts, similar to the Evis enemy. Would then spam a sequence of tears at Isaac's direction, which would go: 4 tears (Similar to Super Greed), 5 tears, 4, 5, 4, and finally would shoot out a ring of 16 blood tears around himself. Issac would have to dodge these tears while being limited in his movement by the gut attack. Would also occasionally shoot out 3 rings of 16 tears around himself, alternating between ordinal and cardinal directions.

Sloth (Corpse): Would have a permanent poison cloud around him. Ipecac shots leave big poison clouds, slightly smaller than the ones left by Sick Boom Flies. Would also shoot out a group of 5 Small Maggots and a Level 2 Charger.

Lust (Corpse): Is slightly slower, but spawns lines of 3 Pustules while running at you. These would have a recharge time, but would still be dangerous.

Envy (Corpse): Has a permanent poison cloud around him, making him similar to the Gasper from The End Is Nigh. Splitting him would lead to smaller poison clouds, but more crowded spaces.

Gluttony (Mausoleum/Gehenna) Would act similar to Vis Versa in his Brimstone attack. Shoots out 6 tears that split into 4 purple fires in the cardinal directions, similar to one of Heretic's attacks.

I'll think of more later.

I think the behavior changes shouldnt be very drastical since they're only floor variants, not an entirely new enemy
Bonk Man 10 Jul, 2021 @ 2:19am
Well, the point is that they're expanded takes on some enemies. Gluttony is like Vis, Sloth is like Gurgle, Greed is like the Shopkeeper enemies, etc. So I feel it's a decent idea to make them resemble that chapter's enemies rather than their other variants. It also keeps you on your toes.

fair enuff

I did mean dank depths, not depths. Also, keeper variants should use shop items or item room items. Why not give keeper wrath scatter bombs?

It could be cool if womb/utero lust could do a charge that makes her temporarily invincible, like the mars item does
