Aside from the fact that there are a ton of really busted weapons that need to be toned back, and underpowered garbage that need buckets of steroids pumped in to reach viability, weapon rebalances can often make old weapons FEEL like new ones, if only due to a complete statistical overhaul like with the Pocket Pistol. Considering a balance like that, paired with a new weapon model or something, and basically all you're getting with a new weapon in comparison at that point is a new weapon model, something you could get with a mod anyway
idk I'm very conservative about filespace
