Where are Mod Options?
I saw where we can adjust Tank and other unit Health multipliers by going to Mod Options, but I do not see that in my game. I only see YAML option and those things do not reside there. If I go to the normal Options menus I just get the normal vanilla selection, nothing called Mod Options there either.

Basically, YAML is unplayable without bobberts because The author decided to ramp up the difficulty exponentially in his mod and only made it possible to dumb it back down through another mod created by a different author. Seems pretty stupid. Why not leave the defaults in place and allow them to be ramped up by those who wanted the option? Add to that that you can't get the mod in question on Steam, and have to manually download it from the Nexus and what could have been an easy install turns into a slogfest. Then, even after acquiring Bobberts and finally getting it to install correctly, it conflicts with YAML, and the options to reduce the invincible tanks that make me want a lance of them instead of mechs, and the small laser turrets that can shrug off an AC 20 shot without a care are not present. So basically for me this mod is worthless.

Now, I'm probably missing a mod that everyone already knows about and didn't feel it needed mentioning, but as things stand now, this has been a complete waste of time.

You realize that the only non-vanilla difficulty changes are the tank / vtol / turret HP values, and they can be set directly from the game main screen without Mod Options?

Thusly, all complaints about "difficult" are invalid.

Wait, so if I click the "vanilla" button in the YAML options it puts the tanks, VTOLs, and turrets back to normal health? And they get buffed again if I change anything in the settings?

Well just installed it and its removed engines from various mechs and i have no idea how to buy engines and install them haha. Good mod no engines out of 10.

Mod would of been perfect without the Tank /vehicle HP increase idea, tanks & vehicles are now more of a threat than actual enemy mechs, since they have few weakness points in comparison and the only way apparently to adjust the Settings is bobberts "mod options" which conflicts with this mod, all a bit confusing, but would of made a great potential mod. Personally i just dont use it now.

I trust getting my mods from steam vs nexus. This mod you created, is the only mod that truly enriches the game's experience to match Mechwarrior's past. Hoping some day mod options becomes available from steam, or your mod uncoupled from the dependency. ty.

What about the tankier-than-assaults urbanmechs?
