MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries

Yet Another Mechlab
Co-op players cannot access loadout in mechlab.
Tried to start a Co-op campaign last night, and when we run with YAML, the host can use the loadout tab in mechlab, but the connected player gets the "in a system that does not support refits" message in the mechbay, and the loadout screen is unavailable. The option for the refit limitations is not selected. We tried with the offset at 7, and nothing. We tried to go in and set the option on both ends to allow refits, and still nothing. We adore YAML, so not being able to use it in Co-op is heartbreaking. is there a way to get around this issue?

Running into this issue with my co-op group as well. Tried importing my save into a new career and still had the issue with multiple people after confirming we all had the same mod versions.

We did the same. even removed all mods except YAML. nothing helped. Mod author stated in their discord that "everything should clear up in a day or two" from the update, but idk. haven't tried since.

Trying to figure this out myself, if you could post up what's listed as a "conflict" in the ingame mod menu on YAML for this with your mod lists? Might be able to find what's wrong where and put in a comprehensive bug report for it.

Even with YAML being the ONLY mod, we had the same issue. Seems like its with the mod itself.

A bit late but our group ran into the same problem but having all players verify game files fixed it for us.

Just tested the validate files fix and it worked for us too.

I'm not sure about the validate files fix, but specifically what causes this is an error in the files that are created to sync to multiplayer. Almost always I have found this error is caused by loading back on saves during multiplayer play with certain mods. There is two ways usually to fix this... ~5 months ago, I don't know if its different now after the patches.

During this the host MUST be in singleplayer mode:
Uncommonly works: Buy some things, jump to a new system, buy some more things. Switch back to multiplayer, see if it works.
Commonly works: Jump to a new system, do a single mission, jump to another system. I usually buy a few things as well to pair it with the method above.

We had issues with this and validating files fixed it for us.

Been having issues out of the blue with this, decided to look around and I noticed YAML had a recent update. Is this still not fixed?

Can verify, the bug is back.

Probably not a bug. There was just an update for YAML from 0.82 to 0.83. Chances are you have a version mismatch because Steam Workshop isn't consistent or reliable for pushing mod updates. Do the unsub/resub trick to pull new version.
