As this mod streamlines meats including modding animals it can cause bugs if you set your sacred animal in ideology. For instance if you have vanilla animals expanded - boreal forest which adds black bears and your sacred animal is a grizzly bear, butchering the black bear results in bear meat. Consuming said bear meat counts as the "ate sacred animal meat" malus.
Even though its just a blackbear, any bear (assuming its been patched) gives bear meat which gives the malus.
