Where do you get salt for tallow?

i mined some salt and made calcium carbonate but neither are used for the tallow. so where do i get salt for tallow?

Salt can be mined from Salt rocks. Look for a greyish rock with orange-like crystals protruding from them.

The salt for tallow kinda looks like a bowl of peaches, that salt can come from the salt ore, mined in the medieval mine, or I think there is a way to grind up bricks/chunks into salt. (But that one might be an addon mod I am not sure.)
