MY GRAPES! The post can't be placed on soil

I was planing on making a vineyard for my castle but the post can't be placed on any type of soil, does anyone know a fix? I really wan't my vampires drunk!

Not sure If you figured it out yet, but grapes and tomatoes grow on posts themselves, not soil and their growth rate doesn't change with soil fertility. So just put a post on regular soil

Something weird is that the posts can't be put down on fertile soil for some reason
