Trebuchet ammo

I have found in coments some time ago that trebuchet could not find ammo while it was laying right near it, happened the same to me (sandstone chunks), has anyone found what's wrong?

Havent fixed it yet, will most likely not get fixed soon

thx for letting me know, if the problem is chunks themselves, u could make a stone ball or sth recipe from 1 chunk in the crafting spot, but I guess that is not the problem :/
