Where to find steel?
I cannot find the schematic to research steel. I have looked in the legendary grave sites and nothing. Am i missing something or is this a bug?

Request scholar traders from your allies. They will consistently have 1-3 schematics on them. There are several you need for the tech tree.

Currently, there are two main ways to obtain schematics in the game: through scholar caravans and through dungeons.

To purchase schematics from caravans, you must be allied with one of the houses.

Additionally, there are ruins in the game that contain wooden shelves filled with books, some of which may contain schematics.

The ruins that contain schematics may be a bit too scarce, which is why a new mod is being developed to address this issue. The mod will allow you to actively search for ruins that will have a guaranteed schematic, making it easier for players to acquire the schematics they need.

Thanks for the reply, which factions do you need to be friendly with?

With one of the 4 noble houses. Of course, the more allies you have, the more caravans you can ask for.

The noble houses would be:
House Soren
House Oswin
House Amboise
House Hesse

After you have completed the research "Carrier Birds", you can build a Scribe Table. The Scribe Table must also be connected to a Carrier Bird, after which it can be used for communication with other factions. You can then use it to request these caravans... in particular Scholar Caravans.

The MO content is mostly done, I may add some more dungeons in the future, but it's still playable: Treasure Hunter: Medieval Overhaul
