I just loaded my single player save on Blackwood and the resource merchant disappeared. I did not have an ammo merchant plopped, so I don't know if it will happen with both.

I'll take a look, though atlas single player isn't very stable at the moment, it seems.
Was any other structure and/or progress in general missing or just the merchant?
My single player games tend to blip my progress out of existence whenever it feels like it.

No, nothing else went missing.

Of possible interest is that yours was the only mod I had when I placed the structure, but I added another right before loading and finding the merchant missing. I don't know if that would cause any issues, but thought I may as well mention it.

It's worth checking out. Which mod was that? :0

Ship Repair Crew. I have some time tonight; I'm gonna play around some more. I will let you know if I see anything.

Alrighty, I'll take a look.
I've been currently looking through this mod to see if I can spot anything odd as well as adjust and make new things, so I'll be on the radar if anything pops up on your end. :)

Gonna throw out an update soon to fix some missing static meshes for the resource merchant.

*EDIT*
I rolled out an update to fix the static meshes around the resource merchant and also an adjustment to the game mode entry in primal game data.

Hopefully that fixes it for you, but the single player mode is pretty fickle with saving stuff :(

It's still happening, sadly. I also had a shipyard disappear, which is very annoying because the disappearing shipyards on the Ocean map is the reason why I started over in Blackwood. I'm just gonna chalk this up to more Atlas issues, and wait a few more months for this latest series of bugs to be worked out.

I found a checkmark that specifically says "Prevent Saving" which was enabled by default for the NPC blueprint I used as a base for these. I unchecked it lol Check and see if that helps you out now. :)

I'm sorry I missed your reply. On a whim, I decided to verify file integrity and play the game again. One file updated (maybe from your mod?) and since then I have had no problems. So, either your fix or the file integrity check fixed the problem and the vendor now stays put. On a similar note, my shipyards are also staying put, so who knows...

Either way, it seems to be working and I really enjoy the time it saves, not having to hunt down all the various resources! Thanks!

No worries ^_^

Shipyards as well after doing that check?
Interesting...could possibly be a fix for a few things currently happening in singleplayer in general for people. I'm curious and will check it out. Anyway, glad it got fixed on your end and I hope it stays that way. Let me know if anything else pops up. :D

Purchasing a Grenade from the ammo vendor results in having infinite grenades. I'm not sure if this is an issue everyone has, but thankfully i caught this before anyone on the server I host could exploit it. Is there a way to remove the grenades from the vendor or adjust their price until this gets fixed?

I'm gonna check it out, though what do you mean by infinite?
That they can purchase them multiple times or the grenade flung doesn't get consumed and you can fling eternal grenades with just the one?
Admiral Deckard 12 Jan, 2022 @ 1:45pm
you get a stack of 3 grenades, but you can continuously throw them essentially making it an infinite stack. I've have so far thrown over 140 grenades from the 1 stack of 3. The stack size does not decrease from throwing them and the grenades function as normal in that they explode and deal damage to creatures and objects just fine.
Admiral Deckard 12 Jan, 2022 @ 1:51pm
also is there a way to adjust the cost of items? currently I can buy 10 ale from the food vendor for 100 gold and then turn around and spend that at the treasure hunter and be guaranteed to make more than the 100 gold i spent on ale in treasure gold as a reward from the treasure hunter consumable. Making this an exploitable way to earn free gold fast and easy. I either need a way to institute a long cool down between uses or a way to modify the cost to use it so that you can lose money on using it just as much as you make money. The server I'm hosting that uses this is set to official settings on everything so this kind of breaks the economy a bit. I love the mod for giving us something extra to spend our gold on, but it shouldn't be a source of free easy gold.

(Edit) My bad, I didn't see that you already had an ini option to adjust the cooldown time on treasure hunter, that solves that problem. I just increased the cooldown on it to compensate for its ease of use.

Endless grenade throwing?

DEFINITELY not intended, I assure you lol.

I'll take a look and fix it asap.

As of now, no way to adjust prices, BUT it IS something I am gonna be working on implementing in a bit.

After I fix that grenade debacle, ofcourse. :S
