The error "Could not resolve cross-reference to Verse.ResearchProjectDef named VFES_TrenchWarfare (wanter=researchPrerequisites)" has a simple fix.


Open "1.4\VFESecurity\Defs\FT_VFESecurity.xml" in a text editor. (might need to do 1.3 depending.
Do a search for "VFES_TrenchWarfare" and replace with "VWE_TrenchWarfare"

Keeping this up until the dev fixes this in a release.
Been 6 months since first issue report to the dev.
