Hey all, I just wanted to provide some information regarding the next update.
The next update for Magic Storage – v0.6 – will not be a simple port. Besides the numerous bug fixes, some new content is being added and some existing features are being reworked and/or rewritten entirely. There's also the obligatory port to 1.4.4 tModLoader, which v0.6 will have a build for.
Unfortunately, there's still a lot of work left to do on these things, so I cannot provide an ETA for when the update will drop. Another notice will be posted when they are completed.
Thank you all for your patience. I will strive to make this update live up to its expectations.
If you want to follow the development of this mod more closely, I recommend joining the Discord server mentioned in the workshop item's description and looking in the Magic Storage category.
Thanks to a certain helpful user, progress toward the 1.4.4 port has been greatly expedited.
Hopefully, Magic Storage will publicly release before 1.4.4 Stable drops, i.e. the 1st of August at the latest.
Some BETA builds will likely be released beforehand, so join the Discord server and subscribe to the Mod Beta Builds News role if you want to be pinged when this happens.
I was expecting tModLoader 1.4.4 to release on the 1st of August and planned my development time accordingly. However, it appears to have been released a day early. This discrepancy is likely due to miscommunication on my part.
The v0.6 update is currently being tested for bugs and should hopefully be released for both 1.4.3 and 1.4.4 by the end of the 1st, as was mentioned in the previous update notice.
Thank you for your support and your patience.
