Cant See Some Items
Looked through the FAQ and did a quick glance at the discussions to see if this was happening and couldnt see it. Let me know if this is doubled spam and please direct me to where I can see info.

Issue: I am able to craft just fine, can see the mats I have stored. Cant pull those mats out of the heart.

Description: When I access the crafting part to build doors, tables, and chairs for new homes, I am able to see that the system can see my stored mats for these items. When I open the heart to pull the mats out (in this case, wood) I cant see them.

I can see weapons, armor, trinkets, etc, but not placeables, or materials or a few others. Searching doesnt show them, selecting the filter doesnt show them. I checked to see if there was an update and there wasnt.

It was working great this whole time, and then I port home and now I cant pull stuff out of my storage. Theres been no warnings, no other issues, and again in crafting, I can see whats stored. I just cant see it in the heart and pull the things out (save for the things I listed above that I can see).

EDIT: When I select the "Filter Stackables" option I can now see everything. I swear that wasnt the case before (hence the post). When using some of the other filters (like "Materials" and "Placeables") I cant see anything. Seems usable now, but Im going to keep this up in case theres something else Im missing.

That's bizarre. I've gotten other reports about the filters being ignored and am currently investigating them, so hopefully I'll have them fixed in the next hotfix.

Same here. I can see all the items in single player mode. But when it comes to multi-player, all the items cannot be seen.

That's separate, and is caused by a bug in the netcode for Storage Units. Whatever mod(s) allow you to change the maximum stacks of items in their configs, change it to be less than 65,535.

Max stack size is at 9999 for me and I still get can't see some items in multiplayer. My friend seems to able to see all tho.

The situation is exactly the same. I reduced the stack size to 999 and it still didn't help. In singleplayer everything was fine, but the next day everything broke.

Moreover, this works on items that, in principle, do not stack.

Another potential cause that has been reported is any item that appears to be "unloaded", either being the actual Unloaded Item from base tModLoader or any other mod's implementation of such. A Thorium-related mod recently "removed" some of its items, so check for such unloaded items and remove them from storage.

That's right, I had 1 item deleted in my storage. Thanks for the promptness.

No idea if i am stating the obvious but i hope this helps with fixing this bug, after playing around with the storage in multiplayer it seems that in multiplayer some of the storage units randomly gets stuck so the loot doesn't just disappear. I try removing one of the units that are stuck but it doesnt work, also it displays that there is 0 loot inside when it is displayed as red. The loot still cant be transferred to a different unit or detected by the storage heart. Also it seems to only happen with Full units
