I can't put items into my Storage Heart

I just finished making my Storage Heart and I can't put anything in into it. I have an active Storage Unit and I upgraded it with the Demonite Storage Upgrade.

Edit: A bit of additional information. Whenever I try to put an item in the storage, all the slots turn yellow, as well as the first slot in my inventory.

The Storage Unit is connected to the Storage Heart, yes? If it is, then it's likely that another mod is causing issues. Check if the problem still happens with only Magic Storage enabled.
