I don't know if it might be because how I ordered my mods but bill doesn't have any voice lines or sound effects in my game. Now I haven't used him on my test mod profile to see if his voice lines and such work there. It's more of a "Guessing that they both don't work" ya know?

Hello Blighted zombie, it could be due an earlier update. You could try to start a new save file and activate this mod to test it out. I am pretty sure the audio should be working now. Then you could rule out the mods that might be interfering. But I am pretty sure no mods would interfere. If the problem persists, then I could send the audio bank+files, so you can put it in manually in the audio folder. But I think it should work fine. if not let me know.

Yeah I've tried it on my mod test file and it has no sound (And one of his camp skills was missing). So You might have to send me the sound files like ya said.

Suggestion 1:
Remove the bill workshop folder. And then unsub, start darkest dungeon, Then Exit the game and then try to resub.
It might update correctly.

Suggestion 2:
If the above does not work try this, and download:

https://easyupload.io/qhxyg6 it will stay up for 30 days

Download the file from here and put all the files in the darkest dungeon installation folder.
This will add the audio files and localization files from bill

then navigate to darkest dungeon/ localization folder, and try run localization.bat

You can also try and copy from the original workshop content folder.

In the workshop ......./steamlibrary folder
Navigate to>--Bill mod(2564269029)---And copy the Audio and localization folder from here and put it in darkest dungeon installation, This will copy the audio and localization.
It will add the bill audio and localization file. Then the only thing left to do is
go to your localization folder in darkest dungeon installation and run localization.bat


These are the only options I can think off.

The last option could be just copy every file from the workshop folder and put it in darkest dungeon and then try run localization.bat

And for Captain Hell Knight, try follow the same steps above, but only do this for the localization folder. not the audio. then you can try run the localization.bat in the darkest dungeon installation folder. And this could update and fix the class names. But I suggest trying the first step first. Hope it works.

Hello! I've noticed that, with the Bill mod, all of the names for Camping Skills, Combat Skills, Equipment, and even the Hero name are written in what seems to be code.

Example: [<combat_skill_name_survivalist_Adrenaline>]

I've put Bill at the top of the load order (from what I can tell), and it hasn't changed anything. Not sure what I can change, or if I did something wrong, or if I'm missing something, but, it's a bit jarring and I hope there's a fix.

I am having the same problem as Captain Hell Knight was, the name is [actor_suvivalist_] etc. I tried fixes 1 and 3 since fix 2 isnt avalible anymore. Is there anything else I can try since neither worked?

Never-mind, I fixed it by deleting modlist.txt great work on the textures and voicelines, I cannot wait to have the full l4d crew on a run!
