how to keep empire sprawl down
anyone know how to keep empire sprawl down???? every time I play as the Empire it rises to a crazy amount, especially during the Galactic Civil War phase where every planet you take over is automatically added to your empire....

Part of that is how the recent update changed empire sprawl. I've found the best way to help offset that some is add more administrator jobs to your empire.

I thought those don't exist anymore - Administrators are now a primary source of Unity for most empires. There are less ways to reduce sprawl now, although many people just ignore it in favor of more planets pushing against the increased costs.
