Galactic Civil War won't start
The Empire has already progressed through the crises, I created the rebellion and the federation and have been playing for a bit as the RA and nothing has happened yet, no civil war. I heard there was a fail safe though I was wondering when that was, or potentially a console command

I am bumping this, because I have the opposite problem. The Galactic Civil War won't end. The Empire was reduced to a single planet and it is occupied. Is it supposed to be like this? Is there a countdown for an event or something? Or can I just use console commands and force it to end? I am not participating in it.
