Why is there a fire when docking
Currently people are reporting fire on docking, but I cannot figure out what causes it. I deleted some unstable structure to make it less likely to happen, but I don't know if it works.

Overcharge. Likely to do with the electricity being frail as a result of their size. They dock, and by the time they slide down to shut off the reactor everything is already broken. A good way to avoid it would be to turn off the reactor just before you dock.
