Troubleshooting Installation Problems
Apotheosis is not shown in the launcher

For some users, Steam has indicated that it has downloaded the mod but nonetheless the modification does not show up in the launcher. This could be caused by the 'ugc_2618149514.mod' not being present in the Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\mod directory.

You can fix this manually by following these steps.
  1. Create a new file named ugc_2618149514 with extension .mod (ensure that your operating system shows file extensions) in the Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\mod directory.
  2. Open this file in Notepad or a similar text editor.
  3. Copy the following text into this file.
    name="Apotheosis: The Hellenistic Age" version="1.0.1" tags={ "Bookmarks" "Character Interactions" "Culture" "Decisions" "Events" "Gameplay" "Historical" "Map" "Religion" "Schemes" "Sound" "Total Conversion" } picture="thumbnail.png" replace_path="common/culture/cultures" replace_path="common/culture/innovations" replace_path="common/religion/religions" replace_path="history/characters" replace_path="history/cultures" replace_path="history/provinces" replace_path="history/titles" replace_path="history/wars" supported_version="1.4.*" path="<STEAMLIB>/steamapps/workshop/content/1158310/2618149514" remote_file_id="2618149514"
  4. Replace '<STEAMLIB>' at the second line from the bottom with the location where you install your steam games. This will likely be 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam' or 'D:/SteamLibrary'.
  5. If there are any '\' in the path, change these to '/'.
  6. Save.

This should allow you to see the mod inside of the Paradox launcher.
