I actually have no idea what the stats sould be

But here is an excelent idea by "(❄)Lord of the Snow"

What about controllable rockets, so after firing holding mouse 2 will allow slight controll over the pathing of the rocket. Kinda like the Chargin' Targe's turn rate or a little higher. With this I guess
+20% projectile speed
-15-20% damage
and player cannot control or launch a 2nd rokcet till the first has exploded.

Follows players that are clicked on.
This means no spychecking, no premature firing and NO ROCKET JUMPS (OMG).

What About

Pros:
Launches 2 Rockets Both Which Home On Any Picked Target
15% Faster Reload Speed

Cons:
-25% Projectile Speed
-30% Damage
-44% Clip Size
Projectiles May Be Destroyed With Bullets

It Can Do Alot Of Damage While Both Rockets Are Intact Yet If One Is Destroyed You Won't Do Much Damage At All So It Puts An Aspect Of Suprise And Strategy Aiming Them Just Right

Then how about it has an altfire which your aimer has to remain stareing at the target for 3 seconds then it's a homing missel? i dunno, what do you sujest?

Perhaps it will follow anyone it gets within 3 feet of, or something similar, but only have two rockets. That would definitely even things out.

Well its name is "The follower". I think it's pretty obvious that the creators wanted homing missiles.

Say if it had only 2-3 shots and that the missiles are fast. If the missiles are fast they won't be able to turn that well. Therefor fairly easy to dodge.

I think the homing missiles should only activate when a target is in a say 5 foot raidius? And the homing missiles should do about 10-15 percent less damage then the regular missiles. Also should only have 3 rockets. What do you think?

maybe it would work kinda like the launcher in hl2 the rockets are laser guided but it needs plenty of disadvantages to make it fair

What about

User guides rockets when holding down alt fire
+20% projectile speed
Rockets can be seen through walls by user only
-50% clip size
User cannot guide second rocket until the first one explodes

Rockets curve at an angle slightly towards nearest enemy (Basically charging with a lazy mouse and without the booties)
-25% clip size
User can shoot only two at a time
Reflects from pyros aim to the closest enemy player

Controlled missiles sound cool I guess, but wouldn't it just be a ton of soldiers sitting in spawn, shooting at everyone while they're safe in battlements? Just saying :P
