How to Edit this mod to your liking.
First before we start, while I don't mind you editing and messing around with what I have changed (I don't own any of it after all) If you choose to upload another version of this mod on Steam or elsewhere, I'd like to be credited and (in the case of Steam) made a contributor.

I am more than willing to help you make this mod whatever you want it to be, so make sure to get in touch with me as well if you intend to do so and ill do whatever I can to help you.

Anyway, with that out of the way, lets begin:

You will need the VPK version from Gamemaps[www.gamemaps.com] which I have linked here and in the description and a program called GCFScape which you can find here[www.nemesis.thewavelength.net]

Install that, find the VPK, open it up with GCFScape and in the window that appears drag the 'root' folder somewhere you can find it. Rename it something memorable.

Open up that folder and find the stuff you want to change.

Here are some examples on things you could change:

To change everything back to having their default clip to begin with, open the Script folder and open the script (in notepad) for every weapon and delete the line: "default_clip" "0"

To change a weapon back into being a primary weapon (or whatever else for that matter) find the line "Bucket" and change the number next to it. 0=Primary Slot, 1=Secondary Slot, 2=Throwables Slot, 3=Medkit Slot, 4=Pills Slot.
You can go higher than 4 (And have effectivly a slot for every item in the game if you wanted), but it will cause issues with the vanilla UI

After you are done, go into the 'bin' folder inside your L4D2 directory (usually C Drive > Program Files > Steam > Steamapps > Common > Left 4 Dead 2 > bin.)

Find the 'vpk.exe' file inside that folder and drag the folder with the scripts in it on top of that file. A .VPK file with the same name you gave your folder with the scripts in it should appear in the same place that folder is in.

Drag the .VPK you made into your addons folder inside your L4D2 directory.

And you're done.

You can also make shortcuts of the vpk.exe file and place them elsewhere and they will work just the same, only you wont need to root around in your L4D2 directory each time you want to compile something.

Hope this helps. Poke me if you are having trouble.
