you aren't playing in the english language which is unique and there are null objects being added to the cargo list unintentionally (although that should just generate benign errors and not break anything). might be related somehow. i'll rewrite the function to remove null objects explicitly.

Unfortunately, the test mission did not resolve the issue.

However, during my attempts outside of the test mission, there was only one instance of success.
In that case, the helicopter was not a Hummingbird but a Ghost Hawk.

very weird, both the ghost hawk and little bird have cargo configurations that i'm using to transport the player's group, so that shouldn't make a difference. the fact that it's inconsistent is troubling. if the null object in the array had no affect, and you aren't using any strange settings or addons, and you have already tried using DRO defaults, then the only other outlier is the language... but i don't see how that would have an effect since i reference units via group and network ID and not by name/string. i'm pretty stumped and will either need more test cases and data or will try some experiments when i have more time to think on the possible causes.

As you can see, there should be up to u4 players, but only u1 and u2 are recognized by cargo.

no clue man.

"sun_groupToVehicle called for [u1,u2,u3,u4]" and "DRO: Insert heli cargo: [u1,u2]" both use the same variable to contain the array of units to operate on. for whatever reason, your setup is removing elements of this array and i can't replicate why. unless u3 or u4 become null objects (which can happen with excessive desync between client and server, some headless client configurations, some mods that virtualize units for performance, et c) there isn't anything in my code that would remove them from that array.

until i have more data or can duplicate the issue in my test setup i have available i have no real approaches as to what might be going on. i can try to brute force removal, but that doesn't really fix the core problem.

In terms of results alone, we were able to get 4 men drop off 5/5 successes on this try on newest mission file. thank you!

But even now the cause of the problems is unknown. Because it seems that the only thing that is different between my environment and yours is the language and ace settings.

Also, this was remember during this test.

In our small co-op group, when there were more than 8~10 players, some players were not able to appear on the insertion helicopter.

I don't know if this is related to this problems, but I hope you will take notice of it.

the new method for getting the units in the insertion helos cargo basically tries to get all units in the player's group, then adds all connected players via CBA function, then removes null objects (AI slots not used), then intersects itself to ensure each element of the array is unique. this is then used to populate the function for issuing the get out command and unassigning the vehicle.

one known reason for why some players do not appear in the helo is if there are more than 1 player group, if a player is unconscious of dead when the team planning is finished, or if a player joins in progress during the team planning but was not present at mission start.

please try this test mission a few times to see if the issue where some players are not moved into the insertion helo is consistent, and that the new method for getting out of the helo at the insertion point is also consistently working.

I can think of a few things.

I have repeated the test mission in a one-person multi since then and the problem does not seem to be happening.

I have completed nearly 8 missions since then, with different numbers of people(bots), and i have not had a single problem with the helicopter taking off without everyone getting out of the insertion helicopter.

The problem of not everyone on the helicopter is also difficult to test in the current situation, as we have only seen it in multis that include humans. I will let you know if I find the problem again there.

ok, i will make some notes and push this new version as a hotfix for the helicopter get out procedure on the next update for the various DRO maps.
