I guess that's the balance of this and this isn't supposed to be a mod similar to like the "more options at start" mods, but I figured I'd leave the suggestion nonetheless.
So yes, you are right.
Does this mod disable unlocks? If not... could it? Having the old mode limited to a challenge meant that you could play "consequence-free", which I appreciated.
I'm also adding in some other additions as well so it might take a bit longer than expected.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Not against it but never really thought about it
I can look into it though if it's desired
Greed/greedier integration would certainly be another toggle if players want the extra functionality.
Personally i love drafting an extra item per floor and imo this would be a great addition to greed/greedier mode.
yeah.. you can make the game easy hard or just keep it at its normal balanced settings
Yeah but how exactly would it work and be balanced?
That's what I have to think about before making it
Do you mean how could there be counters in effect (like no boss/treasure room spawns)?
The obvious would be to eliminate the item room and secondary item room spawns (each with their own toggle).
But, for your first point, even though users can config to whatever their likings may be, you should still have a baseline that people can see a semblance of balance in. Anyways, those are good ideas so I'll start looking into it.
