I'd love to see some more mood/gender-related options like:
For supreme-gender:
- mood-bonus when around other supreme pawns (indulging in the feel of supremacy)
- mood-bonus when around subordinate pawns (same, but specifically "against" the subordinate)
- mood-hit when around subordinate pawns (who wants to even _see_ the riff-raff?)
For subordinate-gender:
- mood-bonus when around other subordinate pawns (at least they have each other)
- mood-bonus when around supreme pawns (veneration, think something like a cult-setting)
- mood-hit when around supreme pawns (in an oppressive situation)
I think that - if not too complicated - would be _lovely_ ways to fine-tune Gender Supremacy to one's specific story.
With that, it's very flexible what the "supremacy" means... Can go from a patriarchical slavery system to a village where women are venerated as life-givers and stuff. Or the other way around.
Ex 1: "If Frank can't plow a field, he really should at least clean up around here a little" -5 Opinion
Ex 2: "Leslie downed four raiders last night. She really is a credit to her sex." +10 Opinion
Ex 3: "Keiko has spent a lot of time building around here, as any woman should!" +5 Opinion
@Venusgate I like the idea of requiring certain types of work in general, I'm thinking it could play well into a balancing revered work precept.
I''m also considering a precept to impose penalties if any of the subordinate gender are not slaves.
- Marriage autonomy precepts that override pawns ability to reject proposals by gender
- Grouping the work types together to reduce the number of precepts in the menu
If it's just something a rather unflexible "supreme likes having slaves around" and "oppressed gender dislikes oppressor" it's... a bit meh, as it would (for example) remove something like culty veneration :D
I do like the idea for the marriage autonomy precepts.
Create a second branch of slavery( one for different factions and ideology Vanilla) and other the idealogical slaves( for the submissive gender accepts his role and never rebels, and the type of slave should be, like Serf, Slave and Tool, it will give positive mood for both genders depending what kind of slave will you want. Must be the same faction and ideology if ideology changes then they can rebel.)
A serf will do forced labor but it has rights to have a better treatment, must provide reasonable conditions like beds, simple and fine meals, recreation and better medical treatment or their mood will be lowered.
A slave has minimal rights with simple or raw food and sleep on the ground with minimal medical treatment less mood penalty, but a labour speed penalty.
A tool with will have no rights, it will be only raw food or nothing sleep on the ground with medical care without medicine, they are disposable, no mood penalty but drastically drops the labour speed.
If trying to do the enslave gender without supremacy, it will result mood penalty for both genders, and maybe rebel and leave the faction.
Just like in Vanilla how you can call male Leaders "King" and female Leaders "Queen", for example, the option to have "Priest" as the male Moral Guide and "Priestess" as the female Moral Guide. This could be made an option for all roles.
