Alternative way to do this
I wonder, would it be possible to make this war paint by intentionally sending in an invalid texture file?
This looks great! I was wondering if someone was gonna make this after the Holy Mackerel incident, and I’m happy to see someone has. But I was just curious if it would even be possible to do a “legit” version.

The entire model would most likely show up as a missing texture, so battle scarred or any black bits on the weapon would not show up. I mean if you want one like that as a skin just delete some files idk

i gotta be honest, this looks great, even the battle scarred version looks amazing, hopefully valve gets a little laugh out of this and decides to add it to the next warpaint case
