Bug Reports
READ BEFORE YOU POST ANYTHING
Below is a list of known bugs, as well as limitations with the mod that come off as a bug. Please take the time to read these before reporting any bugs.

HELP THE MOD DOESNT WORK EEVEE IS B A L D I SHOOT NORMAL TEARS YOUR MOD IS BROKEN PLZ FIX
Uninstall the mod, open the game, close the game, reinstall the mod, and reopen the game. If that doesn't work then got damn, you can download the mod through GitHub (but you won't be notified of future updates if any come)

Under "Code" you can select "Download ZIP" and there'll be a "eevee-reunited-demo-main" folder inside the zip. You can place that folder inside the mods folder, located by going to your Steam Library > Right-click Isaac > Manage > Browse local files > mods

Currently known bugs:
  • Trisagion is weird
  • Eevee cannot attack while as a co-op ghost
  • Other weird ♥♥♥♥

"Bugs" due to API limitations:
  • Playdough Cookie's trails on tears and the RGB effect on Swift's laser orbs do not match the tears/lasers themselves. This is a limitation of the API, where the color is baked directly into the sprite of the attack itself and therefore cannot be directly grabbed for use. As such, a custom, separate RGB filter are applied to the laser orbs and random trail colors are assigned on the tears.
  • Eevee with Xalum's Mega Mush Compat Suffix, during the growth and shrink animations, use Isaac's spritesheet. Unfortunately this goes for Mega Mush in general, as it does not use the spritesheet of the current character.

I found that akeldama tears just float up forever, they still work just fine, but it's just a confusing visual bug

haha wow thats pretty funny to look at actually. Yeah, this is another result of my very bad way of handling tears that have a "Falling Acceleration" them. I'll look into it and it should fix a whole slew of bugs at once.

so one bug i found is if you charge your swift and then let them hit the enemies without releasing them; eevee is no longer able to shoot anymore until you change the room, upon entering a new room, you will see all the swift stars fire at once and you can play again normally.

Someone else DMd me about the issue but when I tested it myself it never occurred. That new room detail, however, is very important, and gives me somewhat of a lead. I’ll see if I can trigger this bug on my end. Thanks!

I don't know if this bug is due to 3 dollar bill or not, but after I collected Tech X and charged the tears, the tears just don't move. They permanantly stay still in the air in a pentagon when I enter a new room. They do not seem to deal any damage.
I also have tier 2 ball of bandages, but I don't know if that can interfere or not.

Tech X in general is unusable right now. This has been fixed and will be pushed out in the next update!

Found out that if specifically all 5 tears are destroyed before you fire them off properly, you're left unable to fire. Fixed in the next update!

Seems to throw this error when a co-op friend like strawman dies
[Eevee: Reunited - Character Demo] Error in "PostRender" call: ...eunited_demo_2653691445/src/eevee_player/eeveeBasics.lua:106: bad argument #1 to 'pairs' (table expected, got nil)
seems to happen regardless of the character being played as.

Controlled tears are bugged, and will keep you from being to fire at all upon taking any damage in a room. Your best bet is having a bomb on hand if you get hit while having it.

Controlled tears? Like Eye of the Occult? Either way this is similar to a bug under my list of already known bugs to where if all tears are destroyed before your stars would have fired off, you're unable to fire until the next room. It's been fixed and will be pushed in an update today!

For Some reason when I try to run the mod it's broken and when looking at the console it says .../mods/eevee_reunited_demo_2653691445/main.lua:3: attempt to call a null value (global 'include'). It might be a personal problem with my game but i had deleted the game, the mod, and the previous mod so idk what to do.

Its likely you have luadebug enabled! That would be my guess.

so ludovico technique causes the tear which was reskinned to swift to appear as swift for some unspecified amount of time (it seems to be random) before changing its cosume into a normal tear. it still works the same gameplay-wise, but the visual doesn't work.

You can blame Ludo as a whole for that, it's dumb in its functionality, updating its sprite relative to firerate. I'll fix that next update I suppose.

the eevee costume is non-existent when used as anything but player one in coop
might be an api limitation but idk
