I suggest you change

planet = { name = "Hope" class = "pc_continental"

to

planet = { name = "Hope" class = "ideal_planet_class"

to allow for proper custom empire usage.

Also, if you intend the Destination, Journey and broken dyson sphere systems to be guaranteed to connect to Beacon, use

hyperlane_jumps = { min = 1 max = @jumps }

instead of

distance = { min = 10 max = 35 }

Thanks. I don't recall the guides I used mentioning changing the "ssb_system" to the actual names of the systems being generated. This was a massive help
