The Wake-Up Call
Stats Redux
Pros: 20% more movement speed as well as 25% more health and able to be thrown from a distance.

Cons: has a cool-down every time you throw a sapper that lasts 20 secs per sapper, Sentry when it explodes alerts all enemies that a spy is in a region when the sentry explodes due to making a very loud explosion within the room that it exploded in.

My personal idea was:
+Explodes on completion
+Shorter Timer
-Doesn't Disable buildings

In any case, Valve obviously gets to pick the stats if they decide to start adding weapons again.

My Idea was for this was.

+ Explodes on completion of -determined time- dealing damage enough to destroy a sentry.
(Would have to do some testing to see a good amount of time for that.)

+ Does AOE damage in a range that of a sticky bomb being able to damage nearby buildings and players.

+ Does not alert buildings as being sapped, but can still be removed.

+ Does not disable nor DOT buildings.

+ Has a -determined time- cooldown on sappers use.
(Close to that of the second banana maybe?)

how about the spy can send it as long as he wanted it to be? but it cant make it go any shorter then 30 secs

How about making it so that It does no damage for 20 seconds and after timer is up It automatically destroys sentry but in the meantime explodes and damages everyone in 5 meter radius?Damage does not need to be high maybe like 40? also I said 20 seconds but I meant how much time it requires for normal sapper to take sentry down.

Its too long... It will be just even worser version of tape recorder.
Instead, why not make it like that:
Pros:
When timer finishes (12 second timer) sapper will explode with big radius destroying all building nearby and damaging close nearby for 100 damage (affected by ramp up and fall off)
Silent
Cons:
Doesnt disable building
Can place only 1, after that it will go on cooldown (20 seconds)

Yeah sure thats kinda what I said except does not disable buildings.
Engineers are not notified when a building is being sapped
+30% faster sapping speed
Can only be placed on one building at a time

Yeah I feel like the creator/dev's idea works
I think it should also look different when placed: No sparks like with regular sapper, but it should make a noticeable ticking noise

Timely Demise already have these unique stats.

My stat idea is as follows:

(+) Sapper damage depends on objective timer and damages from -75% up to +150%. The less time left from the objective the higher damage is inflicted on enemy buildings
(-) Damage percent is calculated from the moment the owner equips this Sapper
(-) Switching off this Sapper to another type or to any other off-class resets the timer

[+] Alerts engineer after 5 seconds
[-] -25% slower sapping speed
Good for battle engineers

My stats are:

[+] Explodes after a full successful sap, dealing damage to nearby enemies and buildings.
[+] Sapped building doesn't alert the Engineer.
[-] Large Cooldown between sapper placements
[-] Other teammates can destroy the sapper with any melee weapon if they notice it

Maybe a possible cloak reducing stat where you mostly need to place these while uncloaked and run away while disguised as you can place sappers without loosing a disguise

Makes a loud noise for other teammates to hear
