[FEEDBACK REQUEST] Servile and Sertorian Rebels units
Hey everyone, Just curious as to what you all think about our Units for the Servile and Sertorian Rebels factions.

My personal favorite happen to be the Caelators... Sertorius specifically picked out the fastest men of the allied tribes and formed a division of men. There sole purpose... to chase down the retreating enemy. See Sertorius knew how it was as a Roman soldier to fight in that heavy armor and weapons, and then after the battle run on top of that. He knew they would be tired if he could just break them. So he kept these men hidden or away from battle until the enemy routed. He then gave the signal and these men went to work and chased down the enemys hacking them on the run. While creating the Caelators, which literally means "Chasers", we made them as fast as the game allowed, without them looking like Flash from DCs Justice League. One must think before using them as well, because they werent meant to break or hold the lines, they had one purpose, chase down the fleeing enemy. Use them Wisely!

So again, whose your favorite so far?

I like tge new units. Playing the campaign while watching the TV series. How ever I did notice there are no naval units or seige units such as ballista or ornagers. othere then that i see they fit the scheme very well.

All the new units iv'e seen are fantastic looking. I think the shepherd unit is a bit too good though. 150 range, quick reload, with 32 attack, high health and morale doesn't seem like a peasant bowmen to me. These units allow you to destroy Roman velites, Rorarii, and leves from afar way too easily.

I think these should be more like the standard Athenian archer without quick reload. Your gladiators and slaves should be your main killing force. Instead, perhaps give the Shepherds and Brutes the stalk or guerilla deployment trait so the Servile faction has an ambush component which seems to have been the case historically.

Also, am I right in assuming that the Sertorians can't build additional Roman units? A buildable Roman deserter cohort representing the influx of Vento's 53 cohorts to Sertorius' side would be interesting.

the archers have weak defence, slingers would take them down just as easily as any other ranged unit, the romans have shields, armor, and formations, the arrows would not do as great as youd think, unless you gather a ton of them in one squad. i would like to use the brutes as a charge tactic, but their offense makes them not even worth recruiting since other units are free and all.

I may Tweak Brutes a tad, The main objective for them is be help the Recruits as the charge tactic or battle in the front lines. Also they are cheap to recruit and cheapp in upkeep. compared to others.@multiplesanta you were correct about the archers. They have been fixed.

i find the brutes to be very weak and not worth it i fougt with them 2 times and both times i stacked them against roarri and my brutes lost
i think they should be able to beat the most basic of militia
