Supply Raid impossible?
I have one soldier with nothing extra equipped, and even if I 75% boost, its still too short of a mission window to be feasible.
This is the first Supply Raid I've had pop up. Even if I had a full squad of my best (which isn't much when I've barely started), 31-33 enemies would be too many considering I already have Priests, Lancers and Sneks showing up.

Are you just not supposed to do these, or am I just supposed to "git gud"?

Yeah, you're not "supposed" to do those so early. Later on, you will detect them and possibly have more time to infiltrate and do them to get some corpses and loot.

It's ok to not do all the detected missions, especially later on, you will detect way more missions then squads you can manage and send out. Which is actually a nice mechanic because it makes the strategic layer way more interesting and decision driven.

For example. you could have send a squad on a rescue mission, but in the mean time you detected a liberation mission you really want to do. It's ok to abort the original mission and send your squad to the other one.

That make sense then, thanks. It'd be nice if the mod sort of gave you a heads up - In the normal game, supply raids are really valuable and you want to hit them fast and hard. So its a shame it didn't work out, I just thought I was doing something wrong.
I was already skipping missions not worth my time or too difficult, I just don't like seeing I can't even deploy one soldier and infilboost without still getting creamed.

There's some good videos on youtube going in-depth about how LW works under the cover regarding the strategic layer. How it generates missions, what STR/VIG/FC means, the different mission types and how those effect your campaign, etc.

Search for "XCOM Long War 2 Strategic Basics Overexplained" (from Ronar).

I don't usually really like to watch other people play games but a guide sounds good. I've played a lot of XCOM and I did play the original Long War for X1 and the Long War for X2 (before War of the Chosen) but there's a lot I definitely don't know yet!
Thanks. Going in blind on Veteran has been fun and challenging. I'll give a loot for it.

This one is a pretty good basic tutorial in written form if you don't want youtube content.

You need to stack advantages that you don't have yet. Like, detect them earlier with more intelligence rebels, have faster infiltrations from tech, have a leader that shortens infiltration, use suppressors, chameleon suits, traits, make up for a smaller squad with better equipped soldiers, etc. Doing them when kevlar and lasers are the best you have is courting death.
