PLEASE NOTE: Extended Information mod will cause the shot hud to show 0% hit chance. To fix this go in mod options ingame menu, look for extended information and disable Aim Assist.
Also Unit Flag Extended will show loot icon on enemies: "Loot can be toggled to only display after scanning protocol, battle scanners or scouting by Reaper target definition. Defaults to shown, no scanning needed."
And finally, [SOCI] Rusty Barracks Status Display, will not display soldiers in the correct status. This is known and is expected to be updated to support lwotc at some point in the future. But I still find it very useful and included it in the collection.

It kinda, sort of is.
If you just launch it as it is, it wont crash, but alot of features aint gona work or some unintended things will happen, like getting Master Sergeants in first month because XP gain is conflicting with how Long War does it.
Because Musashi... isnt around to fix it (break from XCOM modding ?), either someone creates a giant patch for others to get or you can simply do it yourself.
Thankfully, all that needs to be done is pretty much editing ini files via AML and requires no actual coding skills or you having to download the + 50 gig SDK.
Because i was among the first to play RPGO with LWOTC, i made a thread about it and i gathered fixes guys brought up in the original post.

Edit: For those curious about Raider Factions and if they work.
They do, but without additional patching, they will get absolutely trashed by Advent and XCOM due to them using vanilla-esque stats (And everything in long war has been juiced up)
But the biggest problem you will find is.... luck.
Because how LW2 changed how you get corpses (You only get them from full salvage missions, which are rare). Its almost bordeline impossible to get something like troop collum ambush AND roll a sit rep on it with a Raider faction that actually drops something.
You will be lucky if you will get atleast 1 gear piece across the entire campaign.
And there is no actual fix around this aside from cheating. Multiple Sitreps mod does NOT work with LWOTC. The only thing you can do is to up the sitrep chance via spelunking in files of the mod. But you will crap yourself first because sitreps will make alot of missions absolutely nightmarish.
And then there is the problem of the stats of the gear (being balanced around vanilla). So what you might get might be hot trash. SCP foundation and GOC though have gear thats worth it even in LW2 enviroment.

A lot of the mods (A LOT) are soldier cosmetics, weapon cosmetics (to replace "vanilla" LW2/LWOTC weapon skins with ghost templates through Iridar's "XSkin" mod, and voice packs. For a more "tacticool" experience, if you're into that sort of thing (I am!). If you have a low-end system, I would suggest to do without the voice packs, because they seem to cause the bigger slowdowns, followed by some or all soldier cosmetic options.
It's always a good idea to add a few mods at the time, test, then add a few more, repeat.
However, for the map mods, you need to take care to apply the FX_Billboards fix found here:

as noted in this thread

You'd also want to apply this fix

as explained again by RustyDios, if you want the fix for "Floating Advent Towers" in City and Slum maps; this fixes like 99% of all towers (I've noticed a floating one maybe twice in over 800 hours of LWotC)
edit: I don't think the link works on mobile; it works for me if I click it and open Discord in the browser; since there is a rar of files to download and then place into \content\pcp\citycenter of map packs to fix the floating towers, I assume one isn't on mobile anyway; if it were so, RustyDios provided the link to the files that fix the floating towers on the discord in 10 December 2020, a quick search should find the conversation.
Finally, several of the UI and gameplay-altering mods have Config files, where you can switch features on and off. What the various options are is most often explained in that mod's own page or directly in that mod's Config file.
Remember, always use the AML, and enjoy! ;)
