I think you should just give the space marines very high morale instead of just making them not affected by morale. Sure, they might have great amounts of fervor, but that can only get them so far. By limiting their morale, they seem less like robotic legions and more like really beefed up organic beings, as they should be.

I considered this, but they're known to have no fear and the only retreat I've heard of is a tactical one from their part. That being said, I think I will tack on just high morale and add a special limited unit of Death Watch style ones that are immune to morale.

If and when you do the Imperial Guard, Baneblades should be their own army type.
i think you should make a Primaris variant with higher stats

I can add something like that, you could build one per chapter fortress you have.

I think you should make DeathWatch better as the influence cost is painful.

I'll look at it again, especially now since they've reworked influence and factions.

Maybe you could add a edict or a decision to recruit special space marine generals or admirals with jacked traits that also makes them immortal or basically immortal like +1000 years.

Not a bad idea.
adding on that last thing, you could add primarchs as like a super late game thing
but also could you add different chapters and maybe different guardsmen regiments too and limit the building of each chapter/regiment to 1 per empire? and if so max out the number of units to 10 per chapter and unlimited for guardsmen because thats what they're for.

I like naming my planets, I literally make a Cadia every game

There is a mod that adds primarchs though you will have to live with some weirdness when it comes to leader because it creates a new leader class called primarch to allow them to either be governors, admirals, or generals. Say you have the Lion you can assign him to a fleet then move him to a army then you can put him in a sector.

Perhaps adding an interaction between this mod and your other mod shroud rising for traitor space marines or maybe even cursed 21st founding type stuff like in oculus imperia's video about it.

I eventually would like to add a Black Crusade style event, which would tie in with this mod certainly.
If possible, it would be great if there were gene-seed variants where there are distinct unit characteristics
